Also the last couple of days I was just trying to find the most random screenshots from the show so if anyone hadn’t seen early Simpsons (Garrincha, presumably) they’d just be confused as f*ck
Whilst I played up my lack of interest in order to survive a bit longer and try to actually effectively use my power - too bastard for me. Didn’t really get into it until the end and really have no clue what happened in the middle. Just my personal opinion though. Hence my vote for Bleeds in the end. *insert task failed successfully* meme for Jason’s scum play. I did wonder if I was given a ‘Serious’ role to tie in with user name…
Oh and posting only in photos makes finding your old posts to quote them impossible. Searched for my posts in this thread and every page was just [IMG] [IMG]
Amazed Garrincha was the NK. Thought it would be me. I’d have lynched Garrincha last day without much hesitation
Yep. Hence why I investigated him. Absolutely no chance he was getting killed. Soon as I saw it fail I knew what had happened and that I was getting lynched. Problem is, because I took one less vote if I didn’t post in Simpsons meme I couldn’t even type it all out as soon as I had 1 vote
So I played as a few of the roles in this game before... Rich's Townie with no name was an awful lot of fun, but outrageously bastard and in hindsight didn't fit well here. I had SH's role in a game where the other WW was Burgs exact role too. I ended up shooting my mason team mate night one (which failed) and then we figured out day 2 or day 3 that we were both WW scum and that the mason chat was a ruse. RD's SK role was thought up halfway through last game, really sad it didn't work out here. From a game perspective he could have added anyone but the WW's to a lover chat (WW lover is as illegal as Mafia Masons). The idea of this game, other than being a silly bastard game that amuses the mod as much as it frustrates the players, was to mimic a greatest idea game with the multiball scum vs town, but being marginally more balanced.
Ah I just know the mechanics of the game well, Jason is way better at the interpersonal stuff than I am. Also I am way way more obnoxious trying to lead town, he has a silky tongue.
Appreciate the kind words, probably already putting a target on my back. My weakness is definitely fake claiming at this point. I don't know the various roles well enough to get caught in a lie so have tried sticking to the truth as much as possible in the three games I've played. Hope that'll come with experience though.
Very well played @Jason ! Unfortunately for you we now know you are a quality player so I'm making sure you die one way or another after day 1/night1. Must be the best newbie we've ever had.
Also thanks @Guyett must have been a lot of effort making this game. For feedback (and its just that) I do think it was a little too bastard, for myself i felt us town players found it very tricky to scum hunt when so much is going on. My favorite part of mafia is scum hunting.
yeah absoulutely fair comment, I think a lot of people thought it was too bastard and that's a fair comment. Like I said, I think taking Rich's role out of the game would have probably removed a lot of the early game insanity, and mid game madness dealing with someone posting through the mod. It's a role I played as before but here it was probably not advisable to play
Yeah agree with the above Bastard elements are more tolerable (for want of a better phrase) when they slot seamlessly into the game (the most recent hope game being a good example). When it’s obviously bastard early on it’s hard to get into as town or scum. Cheers for running though Guyett. And f*ck you @Jason. Echo all the above points, you’re very good very early on. It took me about 3 years worth of playing to even get close to being good at this game. Spoiler
