    Tuesday, Round of 16.

A full strength Spain will be too much for Morocco?

Morocco are decent. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them take it to penalties.

Yep said it on the other thread but Morocco will make it very difficult for Spain here. I can see them and/or the USA pulling off upsets.

Closer than we would have predicted if we saw this draw before it started. Morocco have not yet conceded a goal, have shown so much energy - question is, can they keep it up. Spain will as usual try to keep the ball and limit Morocco to feeding off scraps but i am not totally sold on Spain, maybe in 2 - 4 years but i think this game may turn out harder than a lot expect.

Honestly think there's a chance of an upset in this one.

Depends if 7-0 Spain or the Spain that played Germany and Japan shows up.

Spain were better than Germany until Luís Enrique subbed Pedri and Gavi and gave up control of the midfield.

This is poor from Spain so far. Only once or twice in the final third

Well, it's clear to see that Spain don't like it up 'em, but they've still been marginally more creative than Morocco.

Morocco have it in them to take this to ET or even win this, but need a bit more when they get into the final third.

For Spain with some cracking youngsters I think it's a tournament too soon.

Going as expected so far. Spain dominating possession but lacking punch while Morocco are being compact and hoping to catch them on the break.

Think they need more variety generally.

    Dullish Spaniard lot, this.

They need to spice things up. Bring in Gerard Deulofeu!

    Oh wait…damn…

Can't believe Morocco aren't in front, they're looking pretty comfortable here.

Morocco growing in confidence now. They can see that Spain aren't carrying much threat up front.

Players like Sofiane Boufal are why I love the World Cup. Talented, but honestly pretty mid-level player finding the form of his life, playing like George Best reincarnate for his county.
