Yes but I have the benefit of various mirrors to keep in check of what's going on around me. :rolleyes

TBH.... let's just be thankful our roads are like they are. Compare them to around the world, they're not that bad.

Certainly DT, but that really depends on the volume in-car. Some people play their car stereos at such a volume, they have no chance of hearing anything outside.

So you play loud music, but the fact you use your mirrors keeps you from danger? :rolleyes What about police cars, fire engines and ambulances that could be coming up at the next corner? If the music is loud enough, you won't hear them coming, and since they are somewhere ahead of you, mirrors aren't going to help.
I certainly agree that some cyclists are real pests on the road, but ultimately, so are some car drivers

Whilst I pay tax, insurance & for fuel I contribute to the up-keep of the road.
Meanwhile planks like you just get in the way and often think the traffic code does not apply to you !
get on the pavement with the pedestrians

Feck off and move there then you sandal wearing Nerd

I play my music loud, but enough where i can hear fire engines, police cars, etc. It's idiots who play their music loud enough where the whole town can listen to it, and it's the usual race crap.

That's the kinda volume I'm talking about. When you can hear every word of a song being played in a car 100 yards away (windows closed) that's too much

So an annoying cylist who slides rom lane to lane on a main road without even considering the cars around him is NOT the twat? I saw one of these W*nkers the other day doing this, and there was a prefectly good path alongside the road with no one walking on it and it had room for pedestrians and clyclists.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a dig at cycling. I often cycle into town myself, but I don't pretend I'm Lance Armstrong and I stay to the f*cking path.

I have a long scratch down the offside rear door of my car where it was hit by a cyclist who was riding whilst texting on his 'phone. This despite me seeing him coming and driving onto the pavement to get out of his way. The tosser didn't even have the decency to fall off his bike.

Cyclists - you don't own the pavements! stick to the roads, and when doing so - stop skipping red lights!

Oh my word, I had a close shave the other day, crossroads, traffic light was green for me, set off and a cyclist shot across, beeped and braked harshly, he gave me the finger :waiting

I find that burning a pile of old car tyres every now and then, eating lots of whale meat, travelling by plane a lot and having as big a carbon footprint as possible are other brilliant ways of making greenpeace angry :party.

I also suggest putting large chrome bumpers on the front of the car so that if you do occasionaly knock over a cyclist the bike won't damage your paintwork.

Nearly got one today. Roadworks on my side of road traffic lights at green he didn't look behind him and just sailed straight across in front of me luckily I knew it was gonna happen so I eased of the accelerator.

I also hate the cyclists that cycle side by side so you have to overtake them what ignorant c*nts they are.
