DO MY EYES DECEIVE ME?? you wait 18 months and then 2 come along in one day. it's the old London buses scenario again.

Tanguy Ndombele... the French Mousa Dembele... has made the wise choice to evade the likes of PSG, juventus, man utd and cross the channel to join London's biggest club. he's signed a contract til 2025 so no chance of him being prized away on the cheap any time soon. the Frenchmen (who has an eerily similarly pronounced name to the man who he was bought to replace) is a real coup for the YIDS.... given his burgeoning reputation I think he is arguably our most impressive capture since modric.

let's not forget the young yorkshireman Jack Clarke ... the English Kevin De Bryune!! still a newbie, wide-eyed and full of naivety he has been snapped up and set back to polish his skills back up North with Leeds. he'll be back soon in the future tearing it up for the lilywhites no doubt.

2 excitings today! hopefully more to follow in the next week or so!!

To be fair, with Levy at the helm he could sign a contract that runs for 10 minutes and you'd still get a hefty fee for him.

    It's been a good day!

One bright talent for the future and one undisputably top class midfielder who immediately improves our starting XI.

definitely seems to be one of the most coveted, spoken about CMs in European football now. huge signing!
and he is 3 years younger than Moussa dembele even when we first signed him.

Haven't been that excited with a signing in a while. Probably since the Dembele transfer and probably since VdV if I don't count the obvious bias I had with Dembele.

Let's hope he adapts fast to the PL and Poch his training regime because previously players have taken a while to adjust.

I've only seen a couple of CL matches and the youtube highlight vids but he does look like exactly the player we lacked since Dembele left.
Despite impressive dribbling and defensive stats I doubt he'll be as good at keeping the ball and driving it forward but he does look like a more creative player with much better passing which could be massive to feed Kane and look less predictable in closed games.
Probably reminds me of Touré even more than Dembele which wouldn't be a bad thing if he develops into a player that good.

I think this is definitely the marquee signing we've been hoping for a while. seems to be the biggest premier league signing so far of the summer.
hopefully this signing is the start of things to come.

It's a big signing and a position we needed to strengthen too. Very promising for next season.

I think top 4 is inevitable tbh and I'm hoping we push on a bit. The depth isn't as bad as its made out so if we can put out a strong starting 11 we're a good side. I don't think our best starting 11 is as strong as it has been in the past and last season we didn't even have the luxury of putting that 11 out.

dunno about other people but i feel like Tanguy has been an unexpected bonus this season.
i mean given that he wanted a move inb the summer.... seems to have come back quite strong this season. looks bright and even chipped in with a couple of goals which is a bonus for him.

Problem with N'Dombele as ever is consistency. Everyone knows he has talent, the problem is doing it every week and also keeping the balance of the team so you're not having to carry N'Dombele when we're not attacking.

He's one of the weirdest players we've had for some time because I think there are still too many question marks about him in the Premier League - I think he'd excel in La Liga for instance.

The sad thing is that if he ever does find that consistency, he'll quickly move on to better clubs than us. The only thing really keeping him at Spurs is that you never know which N'Dombele you're going to get. If he had a shocker on Sunday it wouldn't surprise me.
