Reminds me of Fight Song but the song isn't so catchy.
References to previous Eve songs in the mv, similar story of girl helps boy and the boy helps girl, instrumental break in the middle, lyrics are good but not really deep

In the meantime, for the people who don't frequent FT

Perfect description from the Youtube comments
'Ado is a girl who debuted in the industry with the song Usseawa (sic) at the age of 17 and exploded worldwide, making her one of the most sought after artists in Japan for collaborations and listened to, with songs constantly in the TOP 10 of the most listened to. But because of her lyrics and criticisms of Japanese society, the media and critics have constantly attacked her on TV, saying that she is a subversive voice for the youth and that they are worried about how she can influence them.

Ado is not a stereotypical IDOL, she does not behave like one, nor does she fall into it, she shows a humanity that not many people in the entertainment and art market have, that is why there is a lot of division, since she is breaking the norms of what they have normalized. Japan is a tight and structured society, with a lot of repressed feelings, culturally and Ado is the angel that comes and destroys that.

This song is about that, how she is idolized and judged as controversial, even though she is just a 20 year old girl, who loves to sing and is no different than you or me.'

New song, Idol (theme song of Oshi no ko, the new hot Japanese anime)
Was drawn to this after seeing that it had 42M views in 2 weeks (by far the most I've seen for a Japanese song in such a low amount of time)
Probably Yoasobi's best song, #10 on trending which is stupidly high
My friends say that the anime (Oshi no ko) is reallly good
Will probably read the manga when I have time

Foo Fighters release a new album on June 2nd. But Here We Are, will be the band's eleventh studio album and the first new music since the death of Taylor Hawkins. I take it Dave himself fiddles the sticks on this record, not sure yet on who will fill Taylor's rather large shoes when the band tours again, which I'm sure they will as Mr Grohl quite likes the limelight..

I’ve learned the hard way not to press play on any of his ‘new’ music. Truly awful.

The National released their ninth studio album yesterday. First Two Pages of Frankenstein was written in the aftermath of the band's world tour for the I Am Easy To Find album getting pandemically cancelled and the lads going their enforced separate ways for a while. On forst listen it's just as gorgeously miserable as their best.

Was wondering why the song was so popular other than the fact that the anime is insanely good.
I checked the lyrics. One of the best lyrics for a song IMO, and thats without the original Japanese words
It encapsulates being an idol in 3 minutes, from the lies, the non-eating, the smiles, the perfect standard that is required etc etc
