Not heard much about the game with all the manager stuff going on. Is Kightly fit? Any injury news?

Good news, I think he might play 4-5-1 with Doyle wide right again, as apparently that was his idea. Maybe Milijas and Hammill will get more games now?

Got to think carefully here Connor has.

He has got every player available to him nearly. Playing Doyle wide right probably wont work for Newcastle. There not shit like QPR.

I'm going to make a team selection but I guess he'll just throw out the same players as McCarthy would of.

But hey proove me wrong Connor please!!

    ------------------Hennessey-------------------

    ----Foley------Johnson-------Bassong-------Ward--
    --Kightly-------O'hara--------Henry------------Jarvis--
    -------------Doyle--------Fletcher---------------

That above should be enough to earn a draw at least at Newcastle.

However Fletcher is a doubt due to illness and not training Friday so might go 4-5-1 so
expect Doyle in lone striker role with Milijas between Henry and Jarvis if that happens.

My own team selection would be this for a secured draw.

    ------------------Hennessey-------------------

    ----Zubar-------Craddock------Bassong-------Ward--
    --Kightly-------O'hara--------Milijas------------Jarvis--
    ----------------Doyle--------Fletcher---------------

Why Craddock.....because hes available and a more experienced defender might do us more good.
Of course Stearman and Berra are available too. God forbid they'll ever get a game again.
Would like for Hammill to get a start too actually. And of course David Edwards is available so he has plenty of choices really.

We'll not go 4-4-2 all season now. Oh and Fletcher is injured so it will be SEB up top.

That second half reminds me of a couple of seasons ago, lots of bottle, fight and more importantly, working for each other. Well played TC, i personally thought we'd get our shit pushed in today.

Was a very good 2nd half. 1st half was terrible well cept maybe last 5 minutes of it. Whatever Terry Connor said really must of inspired the team.

Still 12 games left and we need wins. Draws are helpful against difficult teams or in form teams. Which we could do with against Man U. But we really need to smack Fulham away.

And Bolton and Blackburn games are must win games. Especially Blackburn (Or Fulham) want to win at least one prem double. :)
