I couldn't see one - merge if there is.

The reason for posting is this:

If that is true, every top club in Europe needs to be allll over it.

He's exactly what we need, but I'm not stupid enough to think he'd come here. Every big club in Europe will be after him.

All I want for New Year is someone who can put the ball in the net. If Chelsea's transfer ban gets lifted then I think we have a half decent chance of tempting Batshuayi back (even if it's on loan initially). Even when Abraham was out he stayed rooted to the bench. He must be getting frustrated, and they've been linked with other strikers.

Failing that I'd love us to get Morelos. Absolute goal machine in both Scotland and Europe. Surprisingly good in the air for his size and a right nasty little bastard to boot. He'd be ideal.

In reality we'll get Victor Anichebe on a free.

1 or 2 top class players for us if possible.

Have to be a very good player to get into our 11 now so if it's not possible I wouldn't bother. We don't need any squad filler.

I think Ebere Eze is someone that a lot of Premier League clubs should be looking at from QPR, really bossing games in the Championship for an other wise average side at that level. He reminds of me of a young Moussa Dembele, so strong, impossible to knock off the ball and has goals and assists to his game as well as he's playing in a fairly attacking role.

I watch a lot of MLS games and I really like him, but I'm not convinced he'd be a success in the Prem, particularly after Almiron's failure to do anything.

He'd need to sort that penalty technique out for one

Another player we should be going for.

Really pisses me off how we let so many young, talented Londoners go elsewhere when they're right on our doorstep. He's exactly the sort of squad player we should be signing. Young, hungry, talented and already knows the English game. He wouldn't even have to move house!

Yeah exactly, it'd be a no brainer really for either parties, and if you wanted him you definitely have the finances to get him.

At the moment as much it pains me to say it, the amount of talent coming through in English football right now is a joke, the academies are producing more quality young players right now than any other country and it'd be criminal for clubs like Palace not to be aware of them and to be bringing them in.

Mount, Abraham, Tomori, Reece James, Barnes, Dan James, Aarons, Cantwell, Maupay, Konsa ... all off the top of my head were playing in the Championship last season and impressing now in the Premier League, which has in some cases doubled their values. Clubs surely have to be looking at that, and paying close attention to Eze, Bowen, Rodon, White, Bogle and the like. They might seem expensive for the Championship, but sides like Palace can be selling them on for three or four times that fee to top six sides in a few years.

I’ve been wanting Bowen for a couple of years now. Pereira at WBA is also hot shit on the right wing. So interest in both of them. Bowen will probably leave in the summer with Hull likely not going anywhere for yet another season and Pereira isn’t WBAs player.
Would love us to go for JB though. Just a question mark over his pace for me, given the level of players he’d be up against.

Wouldn't be surprised if we cash out on Aubameyang or Lacazette.

Are you likely to break the world record for a defender? Be the same as Maguire. Pay us a fortune or go away. Long contract again.

Not in January. I think your club will know that also, so any bid I see as simply been a disruption tactic. Which seems to be a strategy of the big 6 clubs used against those outside of the big 6.

In Summer who knows, we are a selling club, we seem to have a policy of letting one key player leave each summer.

The question is though how much can you pay without breaching FFP, are you anywhere near your limit, as he wont be cheap.

How come you not scouting outside the EPL for that position? It seems lazy to buy from another EPL club, I find it very hard to believe there is no one else out there as good as Chilwell who would be a lot cheaper.

Yeah I think if we really wanted him we’d make a decent offer. City?! Haven’t they signed like twelve full backs last year?

Man City set their own limit though and if you want more they walk away. They don’t go into desperation mode and throw cash at you. Don’t know where Chelsea stand but can’t see them spending what we’ll ask for either.

No, they re signed 1 left back and still have the ever injured Mendy and now injured Zinchenko.

A decent offer wouldn’t be accepted, it would have to be an insane offer
