    I can remember arguing whilst on holiday in Naples with an old Italian restaurant owner over the best player to ever play in the Italian league ,I thought surely he would say Diego Maradona ,but he surprised me by declaring this fella as the best footballer he had ever seen ply his trade in Italy.

    Sivori started at River Plate ,before moving to Juventus and then Napoli ,his career total was 432 goals and in 1957 after his debut for Argentina he won the best player in the Argentinian Championship ,he also in 1961 was awarded the European Footballer of the year award. I've since 'after being handed a schooling by that little old fat Italian' watched a few compilation videos like below ,when you think that the footballs back then were like kicking a medicine ball ,it makes the video below seem even more remarkable.
