Could we have got a harder opening 5 fixtures? :slap:

    Stoke City away
    Man U home
    Everton home
    Chelsea away
    Liverpool away

Looking at the fixture list over and over it's just hit home that Burnley are in the Premier League and my excitement has now turned into nerves.

I'm looking forward to going to Stoke for our first every game in the Premier League and my first ever visit to Anfield, I'll probably give Chelsea away a miss since I went there last season (what a win :therethere) and money isn't growing on trees at the moment.

Get them out the way I say!

Never know,,,somebody like Everton do start slowly and Liverpool always find it hard against promoted sides they expect to beat with ease.

    Good luck!

but it is best to get them out of the way...after that most of your games should be win-able?

Very tough start but I agree, might be best to get them out the way and catch some of these cold while we offer something of a surprise element.

If you pick up 6 points from them games you should be very happy. Then you can move on and you have got them out the way for a while

extremely tough....it's only just hit home for me too how tough this season is going to be, and that we are actually in the Premiership....I'm so used to going down the fixture list and picking out certain games where I'll think 'Good chance of 3 points'....but this year, it's gunna be one hell of a battle....

I've got a feeling you'll beat United. One promoted side always gets a shock result, and I think that'll be the one.

We have you away for the 6th game. How much would tickets cost and what would be the likely allocation? Wouldn't be much I'd imagine, as your stadium only holds about 22,000 right? :hmmm

Think tickets for the away end are about 21quid. Paul Fletcher was on the tv this morning talking about taking half the away end up because of the high demand for season tickets but not 100% sure its going to happen, so he said just something their considering. I think the away end holds about 4,000 but i might be wrong so if we take half that its going to be proper crap for the away fans.

EDIT- Just checked it says £20 for away supporters, we dont chuck a pie in for that price either.

That's not a bad price in all honesty! I've paid more for elsewhere. Kudos to the affordable prices.

Saying that the seats are about 20 years out of date and might send you home with piles. Apart from that enjoy the stay.

If it was me I'd be targetting 3 points from those fixtures. The fixture computer hasnt really helped you there. I like an early tough game but u do like an "easier" game somewhere in there.

Will be a great atmosphere first game of the season, this wouldn't have even been regarded as a big Championship fixture :p

You'll beat Stoke and Bolton. A draw against Man Utd also seems possible as they are always sleeping at the start of the season.
