With Batshuayi joining on loan this week, we surely now have - man for man - our best ever starting 11?

We even have a competent goalkeeper! :eeek

    Guaita
    AWB Tomkins Sakho PVA
    Milivojevic Kouyate
    Townsend Meyer Zaha
    Batshuayi

I'm sure top six fans will pick holes, but for a club of our size it's hard to imagine us ever being stronger than that. We may even see Benteke alongside Batshuayi in some games. If they're on form what a strike force that would be for a club in the bottom half.

I've always worried about how we'd cope if we lost Zaha, but if we could replace him with Batshuayi + one other decent winger I think we'd be absolutely fine.

The problem is getting Roy to pick that starting 11.

Meyer aside he surely has to pick it (and stick with it) at some point.

I can understand McArthur ahead of MM to be fair, but once Wilf's back Ayew surely has to be dropped. He tries hard but that's about it.

This makes such a difference. I don't feel worried when a ball is crossed. With Wayne I always feel worried!!

I was at Hennessey's debut away at Fulham. I said to my mate then he wasn't going to be good enough.

It only took about four years for the board to realise!
