I'm assuming this is a feeble attempt to quicken up the game ? Maybe they should look at the substitutes brought on in injury time and the duration some keepers hold on to the ball ? The whole concept of kick ins though is just ridiculous.

 

I actually quite like that idea.
It felt weird to me that outfield players could legally hold the ball

 

Did they not trial this in the lower leagues during the 1990s?

Yes so why would it quicken up the game? I don't think it will.

 

Nah, leave the game alone.

 

To me it will make more sense to newer people who just found out about the game

 

I'm sure they will adapt to the way it has been played for the past hundred years, if it isn't broke then don't attempt to break it further.

They seriously need to address the issue of diving and simulation and fix VAR.
