Pep Guardiola: "After seven years at #ManCity, I think I'll have a break, stop for a while, see what we've done, review inspirations - and, in this process, I'd like to coach a national team, South America, European, play a Copa America, I want this experience." [via @ESPNBrasil]
Klopp signed up till 2024, domestic treble in his final season then ride off into the sunset... (the German national side)
I'd be suprised if he doesn't have a go at a Serie A or La Liga side. He said before he likes taking an almost there team, and getting them over the line. There is plenty of these such clubs in Spain and Italy.
Who you city boys and girls want when Pep jumps ship? I work with loads of city fans.. Couple of them want Arteta.. Heard others saying Zidane
Him going depends on Haaland I think, if Haaland is gonna come then he won't come to work with Pep for 1 year.
Pep Guardiola does not expect to sign a new contract at Manchester City when his existing deal ends in 2025, sources have told ESPN.
Guardiola and Klopp to be gone within a season of eachother. I cannot imagine Guardiola at another club in Europe tbh. Serie A doesn't seem like it is a high enough standard for him. Going back to Barcelona doesn't seem worth it. Don't see why he'd go to PSG - not like he needs to prove anything else. He may fancy the outright record for the European Cup/Champions League. But he can still achieve that in his remaining time with City - and probably will. I imagine he takes a break and ends up managing the Spanish national team, possibly after the 2026 World Cup.
Perfect ending for him. Win a few more trophies and drive into the sunset around the time the Premier League verdict City.
