The first big signing of the summer!!
hopefully he follows in the footsteps of Kulucheski and Bentacur.

Does he start for you or is he cover for 3/4 positions?

I can’t see him starting over Son, and Kulu’s hit the ground running too. I think he’s cover for the front three, and potentially a starter on the left in the Sessegnon/Reguilon role depending on how aggressive we want to be.

He's a LWB nowadays, he's definitely a starter there unless Sess and regio step up massively next year

There early feeling i'm getting is he might just start at LWB.
or just generally he'll cover various positions across the pitch dependent on whoe injured/rested that week. either way i'm guessing he'll play loads.

Think he may be on the downward curve of his career so maybe no the marque signing everyone thinks. If he was 27 then I would be worried (not) but at 33 I feel he has something ot offer but can he cut it in the Premiership?

I would agree to this, definitely a backup.

I think this is an excellent signing. Has vision, great left foot, very good in the air and can hopefully bring his experience to the team to help push us on.

Perisic will be a key player for us, not a depth player. He's super fit and several Inter fans are saying he comes from his best season with them.
Clearly not long term, but coming season he'll be quality.

Obviously not long term but not a big risk on a free either. Players of this age can often add something off the pitch too. Sessegnon and Reguilon both have improving to do and it won't hurt having an experienced player to turn to in the squad.

I think a lot of people see his age and think he's not the player he once was but like Rabbi said, he arguably had his best season at Inter, he's still as fit as ever and has no problem playing 90 mins every week, his offensive stats are very very good, he's a decent header and has good delivery from set pieces. Only issue is him coming from the Serie A and seeing how he will adapt to the PL, that used to be a big gamble but our last 3 transfers from Italy had no issue adapting to the PL, on the contrary.

Rumours you're up for selling Reguilon now.

Cambiasso was 34 when he signed for us on a free from Inter, massive influence both on and off the field.
