A nice lovely long trip 2 days before Christmas, and I think it's going to be a cracker. If we can get a point out of this game I'll be delighted because Portsmouth are very strong at home. We are in good form at the moment and another good performance from us and I will be happy.

Anyone else going down? And post your thoughts here!

I have a ticket, I really want to go to the match, but having to wake up at bastard o'clock and then having to get back at shit o'clock are making me dread this. I'm going to be so hungover and feel so shit it's untrue.

Yeah I'll be there brolley, fog lights n all, along with the hardcore fans.

I dont think its the rain to worry about should be the fog rollin in off the coast, a point is the order of the day 0-0 or 1-1 to keep the points total tickin over.

You lot should get yourselves driving to stop goin at bastard o'clock an gettin back at shite o'clock. I'll be off at 9.30 back by no later than 9.00 thats bad enough but if you goin with the club it'll be the middle of the night both ends.

No free bacon butties this trip from the club?

Good luck, with it being the last few days before Christmas. There'll be loads of traffic.

I can't remember him doing us any favours either.

As for those driving, getting in and out of Pompey this morning was a nightmare, so I'd advise anyone to give themselves plenty of time and not go leaving at daft times like 0930.

Well certainly did u some today in the second half and as usual got in the way of our midfield as he searches for stardom by takin as much of the camera as possible.

Just for the record I left at the daft time of 9.30 and was in the ladbrokes in fratton for the 1.10 race and had plenty of time to meet my newspaper reporter cousin pre-match.

Thought pompey were worth their win in the second half with some neat football and the upped tempo. I suppose Mr Redknapp told them their xmas bonus was on the line in no uncertain ways at half time.

To hold onto to what we had we need to hold out straight after half time which we didnt but the turnin point really was webbers miss prior to half time, at 2-0 it might have been a different story.

Must say the stewardin was a bit strange and hevay handed, why let a cluster of pompey fans sit with us?? Then when they equalise and celebrate continue to let them sit there until the second went in and the blades fans become increasing agitated. Then the pompey fans get moved and the blades who spoke out the most get thrown out?????

Talk about preventing trouble ??? :hmmm I think the decision maker made trouble when it wasnt necessary

UTB 3 points boxing day and wow home by 8.30pm:Banana:

Great performance first half, second half was awful.

Need to get a bit more consistency in our performances, we can't keep playing for only one half.

I may sound negative, but it's the truth, if we had played well for both halves in most games this season we'd be in the top half.

But I wasn't expecting to win at Pompey anyway, so I'm not too worried that we didn't pick up points. Need to beat teams like Man City on Boxing Day though.

I can't argue with that. I was a little suprised they let the majority of you stand for the whole game though as this is normally one of the things they clamp down on.

I was stood up the whole game, stewards weren't too bothered though because I was on row w, and nobody was sat on the back row.

I'm glad they let us, it was a fecking long trip of being sat on my arse, and I always try and stand up everywhere I go. The stewards weren't too bad around us yesterday tbh.

I was on that row too did you not see the confrontation with the pompey fans sat in with us????

It was right near their fans or was you further towards the touchline??

When we visited everyone stood as basically it was hard to see if not because the seats were quite low.

Bit different to Newcastle but then that is what I like about these grounds rather than the dull and bland bowls you get a lot.
