What do you think that English football will look like in 2073-74 season, 50 years from now? I think that it will be fairly similar to current years, with same four divisions and same number of teams in Football League as now.

After decades of clubs refusing to join, there will be some form of European or Worldwide league that will have franchised teams in it and will have the money to be able to attract all of the best players leaving current clubs to pick up those players not deemed good enough or worthy enough of making the draft for the super league.

Derby will still be in League 1 but their fans will remain optimistic that this season will be the one when "HMS Piss the League" sets sail

Agree with the above. They'll be a World champions league replacing the current champions league. MLS, Chinese, Australian teams all taking part meaning lots of players who would normally look to europe will look at leagues elsewhere.

National league will also have 24 teams in my prediction. The season will still have Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Easter fixtures. FA Cup and League Cup dates will also be in same timeframes as now. International breaks will also be in same timeframes, despite that they will be changed in real life beginning from 2026. The Football League playoffs will also include a team from upper level in both Championship, League One and League Two, but relegation places are otherwise same. I like to predict future season's matchday dates and division sizes.

People will be complaining because only the FA Cup final should be played on Mars, and the semi-finals should be played on neutral venues like the Moon and Exgar V.

According to this Sporting Almanac I was given by this weird fella called Biff Tannen 50 years into the future this will happen.

West Brom will dominate domestic and European football for many, many years and Everton will still be waiting for a trophy of any kind.

Players will be robotic and similar to the T1000 in Terminator. They will be able to self heal being made of a liquid metal so won't sustain injuries that put them out of the game.

Alan Shearer will still be boring us to death on MOTD, Roy Hodgson will be doing one more season as manager of Crystal Palace and Ronaldo will have scored his 3,000th goal.
