I was actually taking the piss but now that I look at the original, yeah you did need more blue triangles.

Nah, not had the time. What with work, social commitments and the ongoing house move.

The only thing I've done recently is knock up some hoodie/t-shirt designs for Gaming Oldies as they are planning on launching some merchandise in the near future.





(Yes I spelled language wrong, it was 4am, sue me)







After I mocked up those, I got some requests:



(This is "DJ", we take the piss out of him a lot - you can see why - the backstory to that is that he paid £300 for tickets to see Steps. Stupid Irish twat.





Rather crude that one, but you get the idea.

There's a few more, but it's all in jokes and stuff that no one here would get.

 

All seems pretty good, may even get some exposure of Gaming Oldies at Steps then

Liking the logo.

 

Newest wallpaper similar to a lot out there but I did the background myself through a fair few textures and brushes so it's all good - original size is 1600 x 1200

 

For my final major project I have to create marketing for an Eco-friendly Motor Show that I made up, and this is the logo I came up with;



The leaf symbolises the eco-friendly etc. and the circle with lines each side is the scientific symbol for the motor, hence eco-friendly Motor Show.

loving the logo work man looks very sleek and professional. I think that perhaps you should slightly tinker with it and have "eco-motor show" in 1 line, not 2, or find a font that will look better in the style you have. I like the font itself but not sure if it works with where you've placed "motor"

 

Cheers, I've got all day to tinker with it because I'm a bit ahead of schedule so I'll see what I can come up with regards to the text in the logo. I know what you mean and it was bugging me a bit, always annoying when there are quite a few words to include.

 

I know that feel. When you don't have enough space to fit everything you want!

 

It's about striking the right balance between the look and the feel of it. Sometimes lowering the font size actually has more of an impact as well.
