R.I.P Ray you legend, was our goalie when I started supporting the reds and still to this day probably (actually scrap the probbaly) our best ever.
He was a bit before my time, but everything I heard about him suggests he was a superb keeper and vital to the Reds success back then. RIP Ray.
R.I.P. Ray, a great goalie, one of the top in the world in his time, my brother and me watched him so many times,
Absolute legend and the first keeper I had the privilege to see live from my first time in the Boys Pen. A real gentleman according to my Dad who met him a few times when he worked the doors in Liverpool before he was a docker. I myself never met him and just watched the man in awe from afar and knew him as the keeper he was and the legend he became. Sweet Dreams Big Ray.
Same mate, 77 the year Dalglish signed for me, was just a nipper but still remember ever player, even the subs, though who could forget Fairclough lol and i agree Clemence was our best ever keeper.
