With FSG clearly excellent business men, at least things look good off the pitch. & Klopp is gonna be well backed in the summer so hopefully on the pitch follows suit.

When you consider incoming money from sales of the likes of Benteke, IMO Klopp will be able to afford anyone he can attract. So every reason to be positive.

For all the stick they get they've sure sorted us oout off the field. Finally getting decent ground improvements, as well as clearing £150m+ worth of debts

Worth noting that this is largely due to the Suarez sale and the new TV deal afforded to everyone. There will also be a boost coming from the bandwaggon fans excited from the league challenge. The next accounts will show the CL money, however much that is for being in the groups, but it'll be interesting to see how it matches up.

At the risk of sounding stupid, how? When we sold Suarez we spent something like £120m on 'replacements'.

That's a genuine query btw. I've no idea about finances.

I think it's due to most signings being amortised while Liverpool wanted the amount in full from Barcelona given 'Pool's strong bargaining stance. All of your large incoming transfers will be spread across several years.

Good to see wages down at around the 50% of turnover mark, was above 70% when they came in.
