Those of you who use Reddit will know that all of the major communities on Reddit have gone dark in protest of Reddit's decision to price out third party apps. Among them is also r/soccer, which has just come back online but is now deliberating an indefinite blackout. A sizable chunk of their userbase is looking for a new home in general, both in general but also for football related discussions. This website is already setup for said discussions across the football league but also non-British football and as such is already primed for new users to sign-up. Might be worth linking this site/promoting it at r/soccer for disgruntled Reddit users to join. Thoughts?

As much as I like and use reddit, for the most part on sports subs I dislike the people who post most of r/boxing posters are WUMS and/or idiots and I imagine r/soccer is pretty much the same. Wouldn't know as I never post there though.
I'm not personally one for going around promoting the site on other media, but I'm not going to stop our members from extolling our virtues.

A pretend slurry of Reddit users that just turns out to be banned members sneaking back in. On Reddit, would never have it down as a place to discuss football. Just feels like it would be too vast to get any gauge on a conversation. Just use it to find specific things out, streams etc
