Thought it’s about time to start this, plenty of teams left in the mix and who would have thought Kiddy had any chance of staying up a couple of weeks back. Normally one or two are certainties by this point but nobody is safe in the bottom half of the division.

I’ve heard that Oxford maybe thrown out the league this year regardless of relegation due to their ground, they’ve not done the required upgrades so that’s one to keep an eye on. Also their manager is off to Wealdstone.

Too close to call at the minute, and somebody always drops like a stone. I'm confident it won't be us lol.

What upgrades were Oxford meant to have done? Do the NL have form for chucking clubs out for that reason? I can't remember it happening before.

They should have a capacity of 4000 by the 31st March on first season at step 1 according to the rules, currently just over 3000.

For the first time in years I don’t think we’ll be taking part in this thread thankfully.

Intriguing relegation battle this season, can’t quite remember a season like it, there’s usually a couple cut adrift by this stage. Anyone from 13th down could easily find their way into this, especially as most teams down there are capable of pulling out a result.

If I was a betting man, my bottom four would be Oxford, Fylde, Woking and Dorking.

It is very intriguing. Not many points separate an awful lot sides. Looking at it Hartlepool could easily get dragged back in if a few teams win those games in hand. The wheels seem to have come back off at Maidenhead after they had strung a few good results together. I agree Dorking could be one, struggling to score is not good when you ship so many goals. Having seen Woking last night I wouldn't be surprised if Doyle can get a couple of good results and drag them out. With Kiddy picking up unexpectedly under Brown this is going to be a very entertaining watch on the run in.

Thing is with games in hand if your team is dogshit you generally don't win them so there usually pretty worthless, we'll be fine, even our shower can scab 5 more wins and a draw or two from the next 16 games, just hope we get these wins quicker so we can focus on a rebuild early.

Think 50 points will be ultra safety this season, looking at 44/46 for safety, no basis for that other than licking a finger and sticking it in the air, still think Kidderminster have left it too late, Oxford also look jiggered, probably just two spots up for grabs.

I honestly think we’ll stay up. If we had a decent keeper we’d be nowhere near the bottom 4 but we don’t so we still might go down. Absolute nightmare.

This fixture pile up could easily see us dragged into this. Also, if Ross Jenkins is taking the Wealdstone job, it’s the first I’ve heard of it.

Bit of a love in at oldham with dorking so i want them to stay up. Fylde york and arguably kiddy are local northern teams and not many of them about in these parts, so for me its any 4 from oxford, woking, ebbsfleet, borham wood, maidenhead, wealdstone and d and r.

Can see wealdstone dropping like a stone with their pitch issues. If they do itll be sad to see. They were the best footballing team i saw at bp last season including the top 2.

Wouldn’t be surprised about Oxford. We had about 400 there and had two toilets in the main building for us all. The players were walking past the line for the toilet to go back to the dressing room

Eastwood were kicked out of the North play offs for not having their seats in the right place.
Enough seats but they have be located to the rules. Shut down soon after.

I thought Dorking would go this year, the relentless grind of the NL finally seeing them off. Oxford just aren’t a National side, on and especially off the pitch. Wouldn’t like to see Woking go, nice and local and interesting mock-rivalry, but their number may be up. Think Kidderminster will be OK, certainly didn’t look relegation fodder recently. Maidenhead flirt with the drop every season…Ebbsfleet never impress, so..
    Dorking, Oxford, Fylde and Ebbsfleet.

    That ground cannot hold 3,000!

Our biggest issue with surving is the last 5 games we play.

    Alty (H)
    Chesterfield (A)
    Halifax (H)
    Eastleigh (H)
    Barnet (A)

Can only hope Chesterfield have won the league by then and are on the beach and Barnet have nothing to play for and are resting for the playoffs.

Maidenhead will be fine if we get a striker who is better than step 3 standard

I think Ebbsfleet will shock a few people, at the moment I take a 20th place finish but I do feel that we have plenty of quality in our squad plus we also have key players coming back from injuries in the likes of Bingham and Domi.

Quite a day in the relegation battle. Oxford, Us, Fylde, Woking, Dorking, Maidenhead all winning.

8 points separating Oxford and Maidenhead in 14th.

We should be alright but there can't be many worse teams than us right now.

You've arguably got to get 9/10 points from SEVENTEEN games, yeah you should be alright...
