We only get 3000 tickets for the game at Ewood with the stand being split. Quite surprised really but i suppose they done it because we sold tickets in the Cricket Field Stand.

Blackburn will get 2300 tickets for the return game at the Turf.

Wonder how many loyalty points you'll need for this one? hopefully not 3000 as I only got 2700

I've got 2800 so I'll be fine, it's my girl friend i'm worried about she hasn't been going as long as me and we got to all our games together, hmm

edit: thinking about it, you needed 2000 loyalty points to get tickets to Stoke game and they didn't sell out, there were still plenty left for regular season ticket holders, and that was a big occasion too, first Premier League game and everything, so i'm thinking they'll go with 2000 loyalty points.

The main point though is that you will only be able to get there if you buy coach travel with the ticket. No independent travel allowed

Coach Trip to Ewood is a Must

So that means that I have to go from uni in Ormskirk, to Burnley before going to Blackburn?. Then the same on the way back? A bit of a blag that really, I think they are overexaggerating it a bit.

    What did you expect?

We made our Darwen End season tickets specifically for 15 games, so that 4 teams could bring 7,000. Burnley had been mentioned as one of them all along.

Then you don't even give us the whole of that shed end. As silly and tit for tat as it is, its what happens. If we had your full away end, im a good.. 90% sure, you would have got 7,000.

And as far as the travel arragements goes, I guess it is a bit over the top. I doubt there will be enough trouble to warrant everything they are doing. Although, saying that, I know for the last two times we played you at the Turf, the same thing about only official travel, had to buy travel with the ticket, and having to go on a stupid 1 hour route to Burnley were in place.

I understand why you've done it. But it is our first ever Premier League season and the extra demand was there so might as well have as many home fans in as possible. Just a shame for the loyal fans that will miss out on both sides.

Suppose it's going to be a bit more of an intimidating atmosphere for the away team with only having a small section of the ground compared to previous games.

Have they split the WEC (darwen) stand horizontal or vertical?

I heard that we would have upper and lower tier tickets....but i don't know whether that will be true. Is there segregation downstairs near the kiosks and whatnot?

Darwen End has been split vertically so we'll be getting upper tier and lower tier tickets. It's the only sensible thing to do really.

So instead of throwing things up and down, they'll just throw things from side to side..

Would have been easier to give us the full 7000 and keep the 3000 Rovers fans in the rest of the ground but still I suppose they didnt want the Clarets to outshout them! Cricket Field will be replaced soon when this blessed worldwide recession is over, but demand is so great by Clarets fans at the moment that we have had to encroach in the Cricket Field End, and for once have a home presence when they walk out on pitch!

Nothing to do with being 'outshouted', just playing tit for tat over numbers.

And well, I do seem to recall the last two games at Ewood in living memory silenced you well enough. :thumb

The beauty of this season. No matter if we are beating Manchester United at home, or losing 5-0 away at Blackburn......we will not be silenced as we are far too proud of our team and our manager. Regardless of results.
