If you read the club statement to the fans on the official Burnley website it says he's signed a new one. Doesn't say how long though.

I said its strange why their keeping tight lipped about it , then you come on and say what you said .
why the big secret about them not telling the fans how long the contract is .

Anything our Directors do doesn't surprise me,there is nothing to be secretive about, when was the last time they disclosed a fee for a player we signed...Steve Fletcher? As long as he stays for at least this season and keeps us up who gives a toss about his contract?

We paid around £3.5m for Steve Fletcher but i think this is the first time a contract for a manager hasn't been made clear how long it is

Yeah because they were happy to shout how long they'd got him under contract for when he first joined. How many managers do you see sign a new contract and the club fail to reveal how long for

His contract could be for 3months or 30 years if a better offer comes along it means jack shit, contracts are bollocks in the world of football.

Cause they make a difference or no bastard would bother signing one would they .Obviously if we got him contracted for 3 or 4 seasons compared to a 12 month deal we'd get far more compensation for him and the longer the deal the more chance you've got of it putting some sides off . Either way id like to think he'll stop loyal for a season at least . he'd be a big loss if he just up and left for another job

Obviously if he keeps us up or makes us tough to beat up there he's gonna attract a bit of interest from other sides. We'll deal with that if and when it happens. Personally I think he'll stop loyal this season no matter what

If they don't give him at least double what they give Coyle,i can't see him staying beyond the first decent job offer that comes along,it would be nice of our directors to just show a tad of ambition, sadly as before I can't see it happening.

The Metro printing a story saying Dyche is close to the sack,:laugh:

How do these bell ends get paid decent wages for printing utter garbage ? Even if we go down id still be 100% behind Dyche for me the best manager we've had in my life time
