Best Player of the Season – Had Hulse played the whole season, I would have said him, but Nick Montgomery for me. He works so hard, and covers every blade of grass every game. He's not the best technical player, but he would die to keep us up, and I think it's that mentality that makes him such a favourite with the fans. Worst Player of the Season – Leigh Bromby. Player Who has Surprised You - Derek Geary, as everyone else has said, he has gone from dodgy fringe player to first XI in a space of a few weeks at the begining of the season. Most Improved Player – Chris Morgan, ironed all the stupidity out of his game, he is a total class act. And may I add one more Most underated Player - Chris Armstrong, first name on the teamsheet, two seasons now of not putting a foot wrong, you never need to think about him because he has every game in his stride, an outstanding young player.
