This is a litle naughty ...but my friend is a HAM operator and he tells me that for the last 10 mnts all 3 squads of troops have maintained radio silence :hmmm

    just to summarize

1-Taj Hotel --- Reports are sketchy...bur people are still there in the hotel
4 mujahideens may have been gunned down

2-Trident Hotel-- S.W.A.T teams entered the hotel from the top and bottom and a systematic search of all the 365 rooms is being conducted.Plenty of Flashbangs have been used..if reports are to be believed

3- Nariman House -- Majority of the terrorists(6) are holed up here..the army has taken charge here...An Israeli family is bieng held hostage here...

The media has been pushed back ...there is complete radio silence...and a defensive perimeter has been established

Also the search for the boat that carried the terrorists is on in full swing

Seems like the operations would carry on for the whole of the night... around 9 terrorists are still active in Mumbai and they are heavily equipped. Around 400 people have been evacuated from the Taj so far. Encounters are still on in the Nariman house and Oberoi.

One terrorist still holed up inside the Taj... remaining are reported to be shot dead. One of them has been caught alive. While Pakistan has denied any role in the attacks, there are indications of a possible link from accross the border. The NSG commandos are gearing up for a massive operation in Nariman house where around 3-5 terrorists have held an Israeli and an Indian family hostage. Firing is still going on in the Oberoi hotel.

Thats not possible. Like I said, they were only pretending to be Punjabis from Hyderabad in an attempt to dismiss any speculation of them being Pakistanis. But indications have shown that they could very well be from Pakistan.

EDIT:- The NSG has recovered a mobile phone belonging to one of the terrorists and there have been so many calls made to and from Pakistan.

I heard on the radio driving home from work that two boats from Pakistan were somehow used in the attack.

I think Brittish and Israeli officials have arrived today too, along with our Met plice (and maybe even special forces) - all per talksport radio so might not be 100% fact;)

    Good news!

Officials say that the operations in Taj is almost complete, with the entire hotel almost sanitised! The hostages in Nariman house have been rescued and a fierce encounter is taking place between the cops and the terrorists. Some news reports suggest that one terrorist is still holed up inside the Oberoi hotel. The chief of NSG has assured the people that it's only a matter of time before the operations end. 127 people have been confirmed dead so far.
