You should have gone for Thiago Silva - free transfer for a world class player. Only issue was he had his heart set on Chelsea Football Club so it was never going to happen.

Who knows whether Davies will be any good. Lawrenson was slagging him off but it's certainly not unheard of for unfashionable players to make the grade. If he is getting tips from VVD and getting plenty of game time you never know. But yes - Thiago Silva would have been the ideal signing.
god only knows but i'm sure Johhny will be saying he's the bestest second best LCB in the world. Lawro should know something as he pretends to know about preston anyway. Thiago was surely brought in to control games like the Real Madrid at Anfield. He never even started that match - says a lot. Does Klopp even trust him? He's been average at best in his outings. Not blessed with any great pace. over commits to tackles, gets in early card trouble too often. This just my opinion.
