I've been looking at the setup - SoccerManagerWorlds don't have the licencing for all the leagues so it'll be 5 tiers of 20 teams in each league in fact (i.e not 24 teams in the 'Championship'; and the 'Premier League' will be Division 1). I'm on holiday from the 11th to 18th, do you guys mind waiting til I'm back...? xx
Yes, the bottom tier teams... we'll start in Division 5. It'll be race to Division 1, and to win the title.
I’m good with waiting. I was looking at new leagues and saw that the promotions/relegations weren’t all updated so figured they must be missing some rights. I figured it’ll have to be we all apply for the teams from the list you sent and all English clubs will be in that game world it’ll just be on an “honors system” that we stay with the clubs we have selected instead of jumping ship to a Premier League club. Generally, the set budget is £25-35m for the regular top 6 clubs with the remaining Premier League clubs having a starting budget from £12-25m. Obviously, the amounts drastically increase by league so I’d imagine for our setup we’d be looking at £500k-1.5m budgets off the bat. That will make the first few seasons much more competitive and longer which will be part of the challenge compared to the style in our other league. I’m looking forward to it as I’ve done a lot of different gameworlds, but haven’t participated in a style where you start low and have a low budget!
Is it gonna be a custom setup cos if not these are the teams in Division 5 of the free English Championship template... it's a mixture of League 1, League 2 & Non League sides. Obviously we've only sent you League 2 teams for our options so we'd have to do that again. 13! My reputation is up to 70 so I can manage 4 (probably enough tbh, cba with any more). Seen yours is 170, can you manage in European Competitions etc, or is it just extra games you get with a higher reputation?
Your reputation is how many weeks you have been an active player on the site. Everyone starts at 40, so you’ve been logging in and playing a minimum of once a week for 30 weeks since you created your account. Mine is 179, so I’ve been an active player for 139 weeks since I created my account in January of 2012. I actively played for about 2 full years then only played a handful of weeks between 2014 and present. I think I got a couple extra spots from my reputation but I was also a gold member at one point which comes with additional slots so I think that’s why I still have so many. I can’t manage in SMFA matches or in the global competitions, I’m pretty sure that is an option exclusive for gold members along with holiday mode
I've got nine spots i think, rep is mid 200's I think. I'm definitely good with waiting as I'm away that week as well.
