What went wrong with the game, they are usually a lot more active and even on the quieter games there is generally some interest and maybe a handful of posts. I can't imagine the set up being the problem because usually find that greatest ideas are generally quite active, and I can't see the theme being the issue. Shame though, we've had some good games in the past and would like it to continue (even if I'm not the most active, had a shit phone for this game and couldn't be active enough) in the future.
Think the unforunate reality is not enough people have the time/motivation to play this properly now. Too many "One post per day phase" type players, just ruins the game.
All I can say is I let my arm be twisted into playing but it worked out exactly how I expected and why I didn't want to join. I put the effort in but it was as per and I really don't want to go there. I just annoy everyone and I end up the one feeling guilty even though I try I even threw away really good roles to be unimportant to the result.
