Anyone else a fan of speedway? I am a Coventry Bees fan. Totally new to the sport (clueless!) but getting into it. Went my first meeting in the Final last year and went again past Friday in the semi against Poole. Drew the first leg, but lost the second leg heavily. So it will be Poole Pirates vs Belle Vue Aces in the Elite League Final.
I love me some Speedway. Lakeside Hammers are my local team. Saw them quite a bit in the mid to late 90's as a 10-12 year old but not gone since. Used to be a speedway team in my town but it got turned into a dog track. The SGP's are pretty damn good too, it's more an individual competion, instead of the traditional team speedway. They usually have quite a bit of that on eurosport.
Big Speedway fan here, go to Sheffield every week unless work gets in way but also go to Buxton and Belle Vue.
Not really watched speedway before but Peterborough Panthers were going for the league tonight. Incredible watch.
