Now this game I was at, and the first half was pretty poor. Second half when Templeton came on was much better as we managed to silence Queen's fantastic wingers. Some good goals too and great to see Temps and Miller come on and instantly score. So gutted Boyd is still waiting for a goal but I'm impressed by how intelligent he is now and how good he is at chance creation for other players instead of being the 6 yard specialist he's renown for. We're still playing catch up on a very good Hearts time though so it'll be a tough one this season

    Your name suits you fella!
I want to know what Rangers fans think about being taken over by Mike Ashley.

Go for it - pray tell!

Im sure most will be disgusted, brought in by the corrupt 'gangsters' so already is pally with them, Ashley is already making ( or was) a decent bit from us from merchandise through Sports Direct ( As Rangers only receive 7 pence per top sold and a small lump sum per season). Only the Rangers shop at Ibrox goes all to the club ( im sure) so that goes straight into the corrupt brothers and their corrupt pals pockets. For years it has been stated that Rangers are losing £1m per month, yet we are only in October and the £3m+ share issue has gone, The £2m 'loan' from Ashley will last until early next year. Ashley will use some contacts im sure to get a small amount of money Rangers way for the corrupt c*nts to have, while Ibrox itself get neglected, seats needing replaced, or atleast repainted, walls need repainted, etc.

A sheik from Dubai could have came in with a £10m offer but it was always goney go to one person, Mike Ashley.

Im sure you Billwill can fill us in on what type of guy Ashley is.

Hopefully now with Ashley being 'incharge of the board room' maybe he can get bigger investors in and drive out the corrupt board, but I highly doubt it.

Didn't Ashley not pay a fee for a Newcastle player for like 18 months + or something? While always selling the Toon' best players and replacing them with mediocre loans? So given how much money Newcastle get from ST's, Match sales, merchandise, TV money yet not so keen to spend any of it, and given how little money Rangers get through the same, I don't know what he will achieve here.

The vast majority of Toon fans are not fans of our present owner for a number of reasons, but essentially you can put them into the lack of investment and ambition bracket.
We're not asking for the club to compete financially with the Premiership's big spenders, but more with the clubs that have income like ours.
Last season we received £87m from TV.
We received the income of around 48000 average gates.
There is some sponsorship money, though sports direct pay nil.
Our player spending is in profit - we make money from buying cheap and selling at a profit.

That plan is a business model that leaves a massive black hole as to where all the income goes.

But, as our enemies will tell us, we are financially stable.

In view of last night's win at Man City, it's maybe a bad time to whinge that our board has stated that cups are well down the pecking order in our goals - which add up to finishing out of the relegation zone first and last.

My guess about Ashley's plans for Rangers would follow along the lines of:
Getting you back to the top league, into the Champions League, run you on a shoestring, rake any profits going and use your club as a big advert every week.

But you wouldn't be at risk of being sold to build a supermarket where Ibrox stands....

2-0 now, Ally looks like he wants the ground to swallow him up.

Not the humiliating result we all thought, Sally done well to come away with only a 2 nil defeat at the mighty Queens.

When Ally guides Rangers to safety this season they will be cursing treating him so badly.

The Southend moaners will be rubbing their hands together, as Bilil Moshni gets booked

In all the years I have watched Southend Bilel was a breathe of fresh air, slightly mad is an understatement but a player that gave 150 percent

Celtic symphony what's Ex shrimpers Mulgrew playing like?

Superb viewing to round off another top comical day from the permanent pantomime from Govan.
