Thought that game summed up our season really "good in patches" played some good football at times against a poor side but couldnt keep the ball for alot of the game

highlight was the hoardings for me

Thought Burnley were crap first half, couldn't put two passes together and just hit and hope stuff and too much panic. Stoke closed down well though and for me should have been a couple of goals ahead by halftime. Second half Laws made a couple of subs and we passed the ball miles better.

How crap was Danny Fox though from start till he got taken off. When everybody said how good he was against Westham i said then i wasn't impressed with his defending OK going forward but last night Eagles had to cover for him far too often. Got caught out and rather than running as fast as he could to get back jogged back and thats nowhere near good enough. Reckon Laws will start with the man who replaced him against Wolves.

Kevin McDonald always seems to play better when he comes on as sub. Cork got caught on the ball a hell of a lot last nightaswell. Eagles and Paterson put in some real graft, just wish Eagles coul shoot from distance.

Shame we didnt take all 3 points but happy with a point rather than nothing. Hopefully grab all 3 against Wolves though.

For his 1st start i thought Steve Thompson did alright held the ball up well and caused Stoke a few problems in the air, decent backing from both sets of supporters too.

Yes some proper tricky home games left after Wolves. Not that i dont think Wolves will be tough because it will . Reckon there will be loads of players on edge from both sides at the weekend.

1 goal either way to settle it for me

was surprised when he took cork off, and wasnt too keen n alexander playing in a flat midfield prefer him in front of the back four where he has to do less running.

I do think that we have been better than wolves most of the season and will be very dissapointed if we dont win that game on saturday

Obviously not, I havent been particularly impressed with us this season and you're on the same points.

Plus we've both only won 6 games all season which is to put it bluntly. Dogwank.

I think classing us as "poor" is a bit harsh. I thought we were by far the better side the first half but you were by far the better side in the second. Thought a draw was a fair result. Makes me laugh when you do things like moving the boards and you still can't cope with the long throw

Did you see the lenth of the run up for the goal:laugh: big gap between the boardings and tried going from that same area of the field a couple of times after and got pulled up for it.

Wouldn't class Stoke as poor though i'd love to change places in the tabel with them thats for sure:no: big awkward side who make it difficult to play against and you had a few players missing last night didnt you?

Yeah we did mate. We missed Fuller last night. Would have been quite interesting to see him running at Cort and Carlisle and how they would have coped. I though Pato changed the game a bit for a while after he came on. Fantastic cross for Nugent's goal.

Best of luck to you Clarets. Would love to see you (and Wolves) stay up so you can stick a big F U at everyone who wrote you off before the season began.

    Yes nice one for that:duke

Soon as i spotted Fuller wasn't playing i was happy enough with that. Didnt want to see him running at the carthorse you sold us or Carlisle

Paterson no matter where you play him will run all day long and close players down, was a superb ball, sent an even better one over to Steve Fletcher the other week and he missed the same sort of header that Nugent tucked away.

good luck to Stoke aswell, its all about how high up the table you can get now though isn't it,

the "|we only score from throw ins" sung by the Stoke fans was a good en:laugh:

I'd like to claim I started that song when Hull sung it to us last year, then Lawrence scored a 25 yard screamer... but i'm not sure people would believe me ;)

Only caught the second half, too busy galavanting around Mexican volcanoes, thought we were very one dimensional, but got in to some promising positions and wasted the final ball... same story for Burnley too except for the goal, but you played some much better football.

Good luck to you guys, proper football club with proper fans!

It is but we are getting hit by injuries right now so I am just glad we have got the points we have. Fuller is a doubt for Saturday and Delap has got a knock. Shows how threadbare the squad is right now when we had to stick 2 young lads on the bench last night. If we were stuck in the dogfight at the bottom we would be really struggling to get out of it I think with the injuries we have
