Vote No Lynch

 

Perhaps we should just take it with a pinch of salt but I don't see the harm in clutching at straws on D1. The game needs to get moving somehow.

I don't want to forfeit any possibility of gaining scum/town leads before the night-phase. I get the impatience with D1 but I don't see much of a point to ending it early.

 

Have you never voted no lynch on day 1 before then?

As you know i'm loathe to vote on day one until i get some form of thought process going. Some people are better at forcing a reaction with a vote or a wagon and we are missing this on this occasion. I'm not very good at just picking someone and shaking a tree.

I think mafia need us to lynch more than the town needs a lynch thats random and not at least based on some sort of discussion and defence.

I read eagerness to jump to night as more negative than positive personally. Even just hang out and ask where is everyone might force some sort of posts for everyone that can be looked back on later.

A no lynch vote with 4 hours to go and we really are going nowhere is probably fine.

 

I actually agree with Josh on this occasion. It did seem like a forced rush to end the day quickly.

Can people really not see the difference between voting no lynch when there were multiple people who hadn't even posted yet (and many more that had only posted once) and voting no lynch when we've clearly reached a bit of a roadblock towards the end of D1?

 

Probably have. Papa's answered why that's not really relevant.

Even then I can change my mind on how I want to play mafia from one game to another so I'm not sure what me voting no lynch in another context, or even a similar context, would really prove.
