It’s very difficult because Adz made next to no posts, so there isn’t really anything to go on. UBU inheriting a vanilla power adds to the difficulty. The only thing I’m going on is the wording in Adz earlier posts where he claims his role. In a couple of posts he says “mushroom aligned” rather than “mushroom kingdom aligned”… I don’t know what else to go off.
Popping out for a couple of minutes but I'll be back for deadline. Considering all possibilities but inclined to go with Richard at the moment. @Lugna rambler - as far as Scunny and Frosty are concerned, both have good town cred from the decisions they've made. I'm not saying either are scum but catching scum is the surest way of taking pressure off of you. I think it's good to at least consider both before ruling them out.
I don't mind about the pressure. we just have to get the right call. you are now town confirmed again as tlc agreed early in the game you were confirmed to each other and her flip eliminates the doubt that surfaced when hash was killed. scunny has caught guyett and imo the only minor doubts are around the later scum votes. frosty claimed doctor a long time after my own role claim and also after sme. I felt he was town early in the game and clearly found sme. he's survived since which is really what confuses me, but in also in fairness thats all that I can see. Richard has taken over from adz and he was basically cruising through as inactive and Richard has picked it up. if I leave aside the fairly consistent view he has that it's me and that is that then how can we judge the early activity by adz, then going silent and then being replaced. I cannot. so I am thinking along the lines of least to most suspect rather than having a solid 1. but we need to start also thinking of tomorrow as well. if frosty is truly the doctor then he's got a big choice to make to try block the scum. the last thing we need is doubt in our minds
I feel like the reasons they could be town are known so I'm just going to focus on reasons each could be scum. Scunny - Strange start to the game (choose one of two players.. ) - A lot of fishing early on, potentially for scum's benefit. - if scum, the claimed results on N1 & N2 are very easy to make and get good town cred for. - claimed D3. No action N3 but used an action N4? No guarantee he'd survive a night after claiming so strange to have waited if 3-shot Jailkeeper. Think Scunny has only claimed x-shot so not sure how many nights Scunny has acted (hence question earlier) - hypothetically if scum doubled up and also killed Hashtag, I think Scunny had most motivation after being frozen by an unknown player (unknown at the time of Hashtags death). Frosty - last to claim, easier to fabricate results. - Town cred from Sme v Frosty battle but potentially both scum and happy to take cred for it. - Survived three nights since claiming. - I can understand killing the cop before doctor but the lack of death on the night Hashtag died is a concern. Lugna - Unusual role - Concern from a lot of players, perhaps seeing flags I'm missing. Richard - lack of activity from Adz gives me no reason to believe he's town. - weak / unprovable claim from Adz. Scunny and Frosty give me the most concern but that's partly because I overthink all possible scenarios. It's entirely plausible that both / either are town and I'd struggle picking between them as to which may be scum. I would really like to hear results again from both of them and for them to reaffirm their claim. I think Frosty is claiming he can protect every night which makes my plan hopefully the best course of action for town.
Never mind. There's a flaw to what I was thinking. I don't think Lugna is scum. I'd like to eliminate the doubt I have with Richard but I think it's one of Scunny or Frosty is actually the last scum member, I just don't know which. Despite Frosty's protests, I think I probably have to follow logic and assume scum take the doctor out with the opportunity.
What's the VC @Sgt. Serious ? Think I'll go either Richard or Frosty today. Expect this'll be a LYLO situation tomorrow though.
I can fully understand the point you're making, I'd be thinking the same thing if I was in your shoes. I've already said and even said it on the day, that I was expecting to be dead the night that I claimed. But it's clearly WIFOM the reason that I'm alive, and by keeping me alive, it would put doubt on my claim and a most likely easier path to push a lynch on in late game. I think I'm happy to vote for either Richard or Scunny. Head is saying Richard, and my heart is saying Scunny.
