I really loved Mick but as some have said a season to many, I thought it was coming with the lack of funds / transfer activity during January loan signings aside, good luck Mick I'm sure you will be back in management soon. As a replacement I would like to see someone like Lee Clark given a chance but I'm sure now the Wolves job is now vacant then Harry will ditch the England idea and join us Wulfs ;)

For me, the prospect of Curbishley is fine. A lot of Wolves fans are doing their nut over it, but I'd rather have Curbs over Warnock. I'd prefer an experienced manager over the likes of Clark or O Driscoll

Please no. I would rather have Hoddle back.

Graeme Souness would be a good outside bet.

I'd give Curbishley my support, but I'm afraid if Bruce was in charge Im not going again.

Expected for sure. Been a great manager for the Wolves over the years, some supporters definitely took him for granted/dished out undeserved criticism, "he's gorra gew Franksy!".

Time for a change though I guess, hopefully it falls on its sorry arse and Wolves go down, and down again, like the good old days with the Bhatti Brothers in control...

    Super Tottenham from the lane.
Gotta say i had alot of time for Mick Mccarthy, he used to crack me up with his forthright approach to interviews and as has been said he was an honest, hard working manager, not much to hate about him. He gave you lot some great memories, some saying hes the best manager theyve seen at Molinuex and yet there seems to be a general consensus that it was time for him to go. Always a strange and uncomfortable scenario that when someone you love and appreciate looks like they need to be ousted. Its probably why he hung on as long as he did after everythign he acheived, for me he felt like he was hanging on for quite a while and he really couldve gone a bit sooner!

Hope you stay up anyway, id go for warnock think he'd galvanise the place and keep you up. Having said that im not sure he could then push you to the next level the following season and youd be back in the same situation again, so its an awkward one! Warnock would give you the short term shake up to keep you in the divison tho imo. Would add a fascinating sub plot to the relegation battle Warnock taking on QPR!

Shame too see him go, but has been coming for a long time.

With Morgan being broke and losing his company it will be interesting too see who Wolves will bring in.

I reckon they'll just go with Curbs because hes said he would be interested. But honestly I cant stand the man and although he might seem the best choice I would rather we try and find someone better.

However knowing Wolves they wont aproach anyone, just wait and see who says thier interested and hire them

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Premier_League_managers

A link of every prem manager there has been. See if anyone else can find someone better.

Update: Read through the list and think a good choice might be Graeme Souness, even though he says he has no interest in managing a team. He seems to have the best track record though than any other out of job manager.

Have also pulled the latest odds on next manager for Wolves.

    Alan Curbishley 4/7
    Steve Bruce 2/1
    Neil Warnock 4/1
    Ole Gunnar Solksjaer 12/1
    Billy Davies 16/1
    Dave Jones 16/1
    Darren Ferguson 16/1
    Ian Holloway 16/1
    Dougie Freedman 18/1
    Sven Goran Eriksson 20/1
    Roy Keane 20/1
    Rafa Benitez 20/1
    Lee Clark 25/1
    Chris Hughton 25/1
    Brendan Rodgers 25/1
    Roberto Di Matteo 25/1
    Chris Powell 25/1
    Alan Shearer 25/1
    Gary Megson 25/1
    Sean O'Driscoll 25/1
    Nigel Adkins 25/1
    Karl Robinson 25/1
    Eddie Howe 33/1
    Paulo Di Canio 33/1
    Avram Grant 33/1
    Steve Bull 33/1
    Simon Grayson 33/1
    Gianfranco Zola 33/1
    Sam Allardyce 33/1
    Tony Mowbray 40/1

Some not so bad names on there, some extremley dire names on their.

On an interesting note Mick is now top favourite in the bookies at 9/4 to get the vacant Leeds post.

Agree with Odemwingie. Wolf650 you say Morgan is broke, how is this so? I thought he had money coming out his arse?! This is the first I've heard of this.

I'm not sure why he's saying Morgan is broke either? it's not true.

Where to begin with all this.....

Where did you hear that Morgan is broke? About to lose his company? Hmmmmmm... I smell bullshit.

And if Graeme Sounness was boss of Wolves, I would never go while he was there. Just the fooking miserable head on him would sour the vibe at Molineux. And he's anti Irish/Catholic, so how would that sit with Doyler, Ward, Hunt, Foley etc?

Don't see the point sacking him should of done it in January during the window. Also he has kept Wolfs up for two seasons I would have stuck by him.

    Well done Hughton

Quirk.. Genuine question. I read you've backed McCarthy because of how he rebuilt your squad and kept use in the prem for a few years. But you would stop going the games if potato head got the job? Do you really think McCarthys any better of a manager than Bruce? I'd say Bruce has acheived a lot more in the prem than your super Mick, granted I wouldn't want him anywhere near the blues again though, despite getting us to promoted to the prem for our first time after only being in the job for 6 or so months and keeping us up for a few seasons, similar to mad mick.
