I'm getting some compensation in the next few months, should be around £40-60k, and I'm going to learn to drive (I'm 20 and can't drive :slap:)

I've been looking at getting something small, that's not too bad on insurance, fuel consumption and of course I don't want it to look horrific.

Been looking at getting a Suzuki Swift, Looks pretty decent and can get a decent one for around £7,000

Haven't started looking, so thought I'd just use this forum to ask if theres a better alternative?

Ford Fiesta new shape is probably the best in it's class for that kind of money.

Get your licence first. The market could be totally different by the time you're on the road.

Compensation rates are quite high I thought Stret?

My mate Gary got £1.5M. Fair enough he lost his left leg from the knee down, but still.

Nope, Something went wrong at birth, had to have Heart Surgery when I was like 2 hours old, basically they got the operation wrong so now I have to go to these like check ups every 6 months and have a pacemaker fitted. Turn 21 in June, and thats when the case will have to close, resulting in a payment.

    Cheers for all the suggestions.
