Ollie scored 91 point(s) in the other categories [Best Defence, Midfield, Attack, Balance & Bench]

91!!? a lot of those points seem to go out the window when deciding the best team.

Think I had you (1st) and Joga (2nd) as my top two.

Well done Joga and thanks again for arranging. I'd say that was my favourite draft so far.

I think for future drafts we might have to scrap any sub ideas. I don't think the benches made any difference - I'll take the 2nd strongest bench though haha

On hols so quick well done to everyone, brilliant draft that I really enjoyed, I should of had a separate award for the team that could of been if I had just bid that little bit more.

Yeah 33 more than Joga, not bad considering Shane & CV only got 39 points in the actual voting! I always do those categories first to help me decide on the best team, clearly not everyone does. But some might as I got more 1st place votes than anyone. I knew people would look at Joga's attack & forget about his bench etc, would have been surprised if he never won tbh.

Looking at the votes in each draft there is more voting-weight on a strong Midfield and Attack, then on Bench, Defence and Balance.

Both jameslfc11 and Ollie's team were voted 1st by 5 managers (mine was voted 4 times, but I was consistently voted in everybody's top 4/5).

However, this is the first draft where the winner has not been the team who has accumulated the most points in the other categories - so the majority usually get it right ;)

These drafts are clearly all about names, should've been at least top 10.

Soz Ollie, it was really close. Good to see Guyett and David/TVR's side get some well-earned recognition though - ridiculous that they didn't get out of the group stage.

Edit: Well done Joga on winning and running this. Top man.

The Michael Ballack of drafting. You are one of the most consistent drafters :thumb another excellent team assembled.

All of this. I thought your team was excellent, and you should have at least been top 3 for midfield.

Mid table as always  can't complain really though, plenty of teams were better than mine.

I thought Guyett's team was full of great players but the line up let him down.

A holding midfielder, a center midfielder and an attacking midfielder all in a row was just bizarre. That midfield trio is full of great players but the tactic would never work - even against players with less ability.

I wasn't keen on Isco left wing, Vertonghen left back or Laporte and De Sciglio either to be honest but thought the team would still be strong enough to win had the midfield been set up better.

When Griezmann came in on the left wing and Mata pushed further into the hole with De Rossi creating a double pivot with Modric the team looks very strong and was well balanced, IMO.

I was cheated out of that tbh. Not that I blame the lads for voting that way to ensure their qualification but you never should have been allowed to vote in your own group. Especially when they had 2 votes. It wasnt impartial and I'm still a but pissed off with it

You cheating tw*t, you were the only ones to vote for against me against PG's team, so don't snivel cause it came around to bite you in the arse. Plus as Gal said your team was a mess and that's why you could only draw against me even though I finished 5 places below you.

My team was actually more balanced I think when I played you. I had griezmann on the wing.
I gave readon for ehy I thought itd be a score draw and that issue would be solved by not having voting on matches in your group. End of the day my vote there was honest and youve already admitted yours was tactical

I brought up the point before all voting as I knew itd happen to someone.

Btw nice of you to start insulting me. I'll report you next time you call me that ok :)
