What is your top ten British managers ever ?
This link is interesting since it made the list by methodological implementation and shows the result as a scorecard.

    The top ten summary
    1) Alex Ferguson
    2) Jock Stein
    3) Bobby Robson
    4) Matt Busby
    5) Bob Paisley
    6) Don Ravie
    7) Bryan Clough
    8) Bill Shankly
    9) Bill Nicholson
    10) Herbert Chapman

The methodology is designed to consider performance as a basic requirement and the number of trophies is just a bonus.
So, it is not surprised that Bobby Robson is ranked very high.

Don't think I'd have Bobby Robson is in the top ten, not least as high as second. Alf Ramsey should be higher than tenth. Jock Stein arguably should be in the top ten.

Oh sorry, it is a mistake of Jock Stein omission. He is actually named as the second best British manager ever in the list.

Sir Alf Ramsey should be there. He took us from the 3rd Division south to Champions of England in 6 seasons and then went and won the World Cup with England. He doesn't get nearly enough credit.
