The longest word in the world is given to a chemical in the human body, it contains nearly 190,000 letters. I shit you not.

    Deep breath.......Methionylthreonyglutaminylarginyl......blah blah blah.....isoleucine.

Would hate to be the doctor who has to write this in his notes on a patient.

I was going to type in every single letter but thought this is going to take at least ten minutes.

An 'ultracrepidarian' is a word for someone who voices thoughts beyond their expertise.

    Or in short Toryphobia.

Miranda rights that are read out to anyone arrested ( you have the right to remain silent etc etc ) are named after a suspect in a rape case in the 1960's. Ernesto Miranda gave a confession without the presence of legal representation. He served a few years in prison only to be released when he won his appeal. He was eventually convicted of the attack though his confession could not be used.

He was stabbed to death years later and Ironically the person who carried out the killing invoked his right to remain silent and fled the country when released on bail. He was never traced.
