It probably does. Proper did for us that year Tshimamga got done. We don’t rely on one either now although Grigg does have double the next highest no.
Really glad Harry Cardwell signed a two-year contract renewal. Quality buy and getting better all the time.
As many as 8 and a half years since Cardwell had an uninspiring loan spell with us. He looked really good against us in the game at Kingfield earlier this season. Pretty embarrassing that our top scorer has 7 league goals this season. McCallum has 30 goals and our entire team has 46.
Wonder if he’ll stay at Eastleigh for another year or move to someone like Sutton or Bromley. Got to be the first time since Brett Williams that we’ve had someone in the top 10. Tolaj been brilliant and expect him to be in the FL next year
Eastleigh chairman was on comms for our match recently, sure he said he's contracted for next season so they'd both have to spend some. Conn-Clarke must be on the EFL radar, you could see a Notts County swoop there.
Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be able to stop him going to York but what a season. Here’s hoping he’s got a few more left in him for Worthing first though.
At the other end of the pitch Sam Johnson has won the award for the most clean sheets for the 2nd consecutive season. (Tied with Eastleigh keeper last year) best keeper in the division I'd say. His stats are always up there.
