Rules of the Game General Adhere to all the site rules and the game rules. Always play to win. Remember that this is a game – heated discussion is allowed, but personal attacks are not. Pretending to break the rules will be treated similarly as actually breaking the rules. Do not quote any out of game communication regarding this game – this includes your role PM, any other PMs I may send you and any chats you may have in the chats allowed by the Mod. You are allowed to paraphrase. If you need to get my attention, please include @Zydus in your post or PM me. Each day phase will last for a maximum of 2 days, with night phases lasting for 12 hours. (Depending on the state of the play and number of players remaining, this time can change). If you want any phase to end faster, send me a PM requesting for it. Do not edit your posts (I know that's funny coming from me). I will usually be unavailable from 20:00 to 03:00 (These are UK times). If a Banishment happens during this time duration, ask a forum mod to lock the game thread, and the players can submit their night actions. I will make adjustments to extend night time for everyone to submit their actions. If I make any mistakes, do inform me, and I will try to quickly correct them. If you have any queries regarding your role, feel free to ask any questions. I will try to answer them without spoiling the game. If you haven’t watched The Traitors, and have any questions regarding your character or any other character, you can ask me questions about it, and I will try to answer them without spoiling the game. IMPORTANT (Please read this) GAME Everyone will start as a Faithful. Hence you won’t receive any Faithful PMs. I will simply tag you here for the start of the game. Three hours after the start of the game, I will send PMs to the randomly selected Traitors. I will confirm this in the game thread as ‘Traitors Have Been Selected’. Traitors will have a chat room, which will mostly be open during night phase. Day phase will be divided into two parts. Mission phase & Voting phase. SHIELD MISSIONS Unless stated otherwise, during every day phase there will be missions in which players can win Shields, which will be powers that can be used at night. Missions are playable puzzles. Each will be explained. If multiple players become eligible for the shields, then there will be a lucky draw to decide. The winners will be privately informed of their powers. It is upto them whether they want to keep it a secret or not. Shields cannot be transferred to the other players. In some missions, chat rooms will be created for the teams. You are ALLOWED to discuss the game there, apart from playing the missions. In missions involving teams, answers will be accepted from ONLY the designated team captains. Voting Voting will only start after the Missions end. Vote like this VOTE ZYDUS Once you place your vote you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHANGE IT. Therefore be very, very careful of how you vote. There will be a Banishment at the end of every day phase. The player with the highest amount of votes will be banished. In case of a tie, there will be a quick vote off between the tied players. The voting will only start after the end of the Shield Missions. If you aren’t going to be online during the voting phase, you can send me your vote via a PM before that. Don't post until I say so. Game starts tomorrow.
