    All transfer rumours in here.

Should be a big summer with Celtic looking to get a side ready for our assault on Champions League qualification and Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts all looking to strengthen their sides for a potential challenge to Celtic.

We've got Scepovic and Cole off the books which is a start.

Hopefully Stokes and Henderson are kept, Stokes still the second best option we have.

Stokes not good enough mate, need to strengthen but maybe as a squad player.

The Mirror (I know) reporting tonight that Gerrard is coming home and that he's been offered a job coaching. Rumours are Liverpool but could it be a player coaching role with us?

We need 4 good strikers, Stokes can be part of that.

I think Stokes is more than good enough for us at SPL level and should never have been loaned out to Hibs. I think its fair to assume though that he was let go not for football reasons.

As for Gerrard, he is on £80k per week in America according to SSN so I'm not sure he'll be that quick to quit.

Fair enough I just don't think we need 4 to be honest but suppose if we sign another one he could be the third striker.

Going on today's performance, Cummings was poor and Rangers might not want him anymore.

Danny Ings will never be allowed to go to Scotland, he can easily play for a bottom half Premier League side on much bigger wages.

Barton and Krancjar again will be on wages outwith Rangers reach imo.

Some of it will be PR nonsense but I think players like Barton have earned their cash and are in your radar.

He'd be a good signing. . .maybe we will do an Allan? :hmmm

Danny Ings isn't happening, he won't be going anywhere, never mind Rangers who couldn't afford him.

Do you think Klopp might give him a chance mate? I know he's been injured most of the season so its hard to judge.

Yeah he was injured a few days after Klopp arrived & he's only played under Klopp once in the last league game of the season & he wasn't match fit... He's a hard working player who fits with Klopp's style so I think he'll get a chance to show what he can do next season.

He could be one of those players that save you a right few quid next season if he performs. I think Klopp will be looking for a striker as I don't think he really wants Benteke and as you know, they cost big bucks. Ings doing the business would be an almost unexpected bonus though I know he's scored a few in the past couple of years.

Robert Snodgrass being linked to Celtic.

It might be difficult to get him if Hull get promoted but even then I know he wants to play for Celtic and not in his later years.

The only problem is if they get promoted he will probably be out our price range.

    Would be a great signing.

Was linked strongly last pre season also. Hope he's not going to be one of these players who is linked with us all his career but it never materialises. The guy is Celtic daft but like you say it'll be down to cash and we can't get close to most Championship wages never mind Premiership. Will be shouting on Sheffield Wednesday just in case.

Ambrose linked to Fenerbache. . .likeable big guy but lets hope so.

I don't think he will want another season in the Championship and might see it is the perfect time to move so aye hopefully Sheffield Wednesday can win. Hooper, McGeady, Loovens and Ross Wallace all playing for them aswel.

Hopefully someone is willing to take Efe and even better pay money for him.

      Rodgers eye Gerrard swoop

BRENDAN Rodgers is reportedly eyeing an audacious bid to bring Steven Gerrard to Celtic as player-assistant manager.

The former Liverpool boss was unveiled as Celtic boss on a 12-month rolling contract last week, while Gerrard is currently attached to LA Galaxy in MLS.

However, Gerrard could be tempted by the prospect of a coaching role under his old boss. (The Sun)

      Davies set to join Celtic

MEANWHILE, Brendan Rodgers is set to bring coach Chris Davies to Celtic as he looks to shape his squad and backroom staff as soon as possible,

Davies is currently first team coach at Reading, but worked with the Northern Irishman at Swansea and then at Liverpool.

Stevie Wood and John Kennedy are expected to stay on at Celtic despite the departures of Ronny Deila and John Collins. (Sunday Mail)

      Ambrose wanted by Turkish giants

CELTIC defender Efe Ambrose has emerged as a target for Turkish Super Lig outfit Fenerbahce.

It is widely expected that Brendan Rodgers will look to trim his squad and Ambrose could be one of the first to leave Parkhead, despite having 12 months left on his contract.

Stefan Johansen, Emilio Izaguirre, Nadir Ciftci and Stefan Scepovic are also expected to leave, with Johansen reportedly keen on a switch to Germany. (Sunday Post)
