There will be a lot of coming and going this season I think and loads of speculation.

I'll start it off with todays report that Leicester City are targeting Kris Commons. We have a years option on Commons so it would take a very good offer for us to sell.

Can't see Commons wanting to leave, and I think Celtic would probably price him out of a move.

Snodgrass rumours doing the rounds again, If Norwich get relegated we may be able to pick him up for around £3 million but I think he is on about 40k a week so he would have to take a wage cut.

Commons may not want to leave but he's getting on and if we could get the same for him as we could get Snodgrass for then it might be worth looking at. . . . in saying that i'm in no rush to sell Commons but if they offered good cash we'd have to look at it. Especially if we could get the likes of Snodgrass in.

I've heard Snodgrasss is desperate to play for us as he's a lifelong fan. Also that he would be willing to take a wage cut.

    Ibrahimovic, Doyle coming in
Samaras to Atletico Madrid, Forster to Man City, Van Dijk to Chelsea

Been a few months since we have heard of that from the unbiased mhedia.

Yes the establishments against the new club.

Always pick on the new kid.

And to think wee Del thinks that the media touting a move for Doyle to us is a sign they are biased towards us is yet again hilarious from him. . . fantastic

A would rather have both of them, Commons just behind the striker and Snodgrass would be able to switch with Forest on both the left and right. Would be a very good attacking three behind the main striker with Biton/Brown and Johansson sitting in the middle.

Snodgrass is from the Calton, know a couple people that know him and he is Celtic daft and is up in Glasgow all the time.

I think first thing we need to do is keep Forster and VVD, I know if big offers come in we will have to sell but I would like us to try and keep them for another season.

I suppose at Celtic it depends on how much they raise from more season ticket reductions..I think Samaras to some diddy team in Cyprus and Forster to Barnsley..Griffiths to Hibs possibly..with a bit more "exposure" the wee pervy winger will maybe go to Canada...where did he learn that stuff?

You'll quickly learn that nobody cares what you think.

You might even delete this post then lie that you don't know what happened to it when asked . . .again

If big offers come in I think it's a cert that they'll be gone.

Agree that Commons and Snodgrass could easily play in the same team.

We will probably be linked with half the Dundee Utd team but the only one I think is ready for the step up is Robertson and atm he would be playing behind Izzy so probably not best to sign him jut now and stall his development.

I would get Balde out on loan, get Watt back and sell Pukki. I actually think there is a very good player in their with Pukki but I don't think Celtic is going to be the place he realises his potential.

That leaves us with Stokes, Griffiths and Watt as our senior strikers and hopefully we can push the boat out for an experienced target man type striker.

I would give Balde a chance tbh. He gets a very unusual amount of stick from the media for some reason. Mainly those fuds on superhunboard who had judged the lad after he played about an hour against ICT earlier in the season. The reality is that he has done quite well for us whenever he has played.

I dont think he will go on to be a world beater or anything but imo he deserves a wee run in the side to see what he's made of.

Balde does deserve a chance and like you I think he had done well in the game time he has been given, but again I don't think Lennon will give him it so a loan would be ideal. He would probably fit in well at an Aberdeen who could do with some ariel presence upfront.

I think Balde has looked very clumsy when he's played and would agree about putting him out on loan for six months.

The guy hasn't had a run but I think a six month loan would be best for his development.

The "problem" with Balde is that Lenny likes to have his strikers who can rotate during the game. Eg, Stokes and Griffiths can play up top or wide left. Commons can play AMC or stiker etc. With Balde, he is really only effective through the middle and imo Lenny doesn't really like that.

What annoys me with the full Balde situation is that Lennon says he has potential but is a little raw, imo the only way for him to get better is play games so he should have been loaned out in January and he may have been able to make an impact next season. Atm we will probably have to wait till the season after next to see if he can make it at Celtic.

Would love to see Snodgrass in a Celtic shirt but not at £40k a week.

It would be good to keep Forster but i'm resigned to him leaving. At least we will get a good fee if/when he goes.

I think it's vital we keep Commons. His contribution this season has been immense and his creativity would be a massive loss. It would take a few million to replace that.

I'm hoping we can get another season out of Van Dijk but he is a class act so it wouldn't surprise me if he was offski in the summer which would leave a big hole to fill in defence yet again.

I wonder if it would be worth our while going for one or two of the Dundee Utd boys such as Armstrong or Mackay-Steven.

In regard to Balde, he hasn't had much game time at all but he does look slow and cumbersome to me.

I would be all for him being loaned out as well.
