Mercedes friends and family scheme stock levels forcing me to take a downgrade from a GLC to a GLA on my annual renewal. Still, it is at least the range topping 220d Premium Plus with all the bells and whistles. Doesn't drive anywhere near as nice though. First world problems and all that.
People who occupy the reduced section in supermarkets for ages and just keep digging at it, ****ing no shame.
I saw what looked almost like a f**king riot not long back in the local Tesco Extra, with some people pushing and shoving in a really nasty manner for a few bits of reduced food. One bloke there literally wasn't letting any of the others get a look in. It almost made me want to go over and shove him out the way. It's difficult to be too annoyed with such a show right now given the state of the country and the cost of living thanks to these Tory cnuts, but it was a bit undignified.
Wild, yeah I've seen people with their heads like inside the shelving getting a proper look. Not a vibe. Agree on your last point and it is a sign of the times, these blokes earlier though were just a pricks. One didn't even have a basket and just kept searching though it without actually choosing anything. like wtf?? Let me get some chicken.
Taylor Swift fans 'overwhelming' London pub The Black Dog A south London pub named in the title of a track on Taylor Swift's new album has described the reaction as "crazy". The Black Dog in Vauxhall has been swamped after fans realised it was the subject of a song on her 11th album. Event manager Lily Bottomley described the Swifties' reaction as "amazing" and "overwhelmingly positive". The Black Dog is the 17th track on The Tortured Poets Department, which last week broke Spotify's record for the most-streamed album in a single day. Speaking to the BBC, Ms Bottomley revealed that Swift had previously come to the pub herself and said the venue was now offering Swift-themed burgers and cocktails. She said: "We're just loving it, it's been so fun. All of the attention has been pretty overwhelming but we can't be happier." Shit like this.
I have been looking at said reduced section before, and I have literally had people lurch right over me to grab a reduced item. I’ve seen people grab nearly everything available and put it in their trolley. I’ve even seen people ask the person reducing the items to reduce the price even further
Fairly confident I could beat every last one of them in a fight, which isn't saying much. I used to take pride in a low star rating. I didn't do anything dickish such as ram people off a track deliberately, but I would wind people up in lobbies in FPS games. The hope was they would waste the game looking for me to teach me a lesson, whixh in turn would give me more easy opportunities to boost the score.
Took my 3 Series into BMW today for a major service, pointed out to them that the service history is wrong, shows 3,000+ miles for first service then 2,000+ miles for 2nd service, presumably some sausage fingered mechanic has missed a '1' off the front of the 2nd figure. They tell me they can't change it, they have to send a form to BMW in Germany, and they'll change it remotely - but the last time they had to do it they took over 12 months to actually change it. As you say, first world problems, technology and all that . . .
Change it remotely You've seen Mr Bates v's the post office right ? Your car will have been round the planet 5 times and they'll back bill you for all those add ons that BMW charge you for that you clearly used and it's your fault xx
I don't pay for any 'add ons', and all the bells and whistles still work. I remember reading about it though, so I don't know if some silly sods are 'renting' their car's electric seats, more fool them if they are!
The deliberately petulant, sulky, miserable mug of that twatty orange man baby whilst he sits in court.
The fact he's not in an orange jumpsuit while in court just shows how poor their justice system is. Their supreme court are actually really trying to find a way to draw a line between acting as "private person" and as a "president" in the same person rather than just saying nobody is above the law period.
Back at the start of the 80's The Black Dog used to have some quality strippers, lunchtime show behind locked doors. First time ever I saw two girls playing ping pong. Bit of an eye opener for a naive young lad from the sticks. Don't work for MBFS in Tongwell do you?
Insurance companies, boring as **** this happens every year with car and home insurance this is my home insurance renewal quote after another year of no claims: So gone on Confused.com and after about 5-10 mins got it with Acorn for total of £333. Then I dare say in 12 months Acorn will hike theirs up too and I’ll go through the same boring process again I don’t know why they all try this every time.
I don't know where you live but I'm on an 'M' postcode, 3 bed detached and I've never paid more than £150 a year for home insurance (building and contents) including accidental damage. That said it's due this month so I may be posting here in a few days bemoaning it going up to £1,000!!
