So we are down to the semi-finals. Both teams have played over 100 times at the World Cup and this is only the second time they have met.

Have Germany in a sweepstake, and this Brazilian team is up to its eyeballs in cheating little shits. I know beyond doubt which team I'll be cheering on.

    6-0 Germans. Deutschland uber alles!

Most would have had that semi at the start of the tournament doing the predictor.

Don't think either side are that good. Algeria and Chile should have knocked them out.

Agreed on the first part. The second part, well, it would have been very heroic and romantic... Welcome to the real life...:slap::laugh:

Yes, just read that too. Can be rather serious sometimes. Hope he`ll recover fully soon. Great player and quite a nice guy in my view.

No Thiago Silva & no Neymar.. their best two players. No hope against the Germans now.

Think that might turn advantage to Germany...

Sad news for the tournament to lose one of its top players.

Yeah even I have to admit that I fear for the home team. There are just no creative players in midfield for Brazil that can do something different. Ronaldinho was a magician who could turn a game, I cannot think of anyone in this team that can do the same.

    Great fact.
He should still be in the squad for me.

Love stats on stuff like last time teams met etc.

For the life of me I cannot understand why Ron was not included when they have donkeys like Willian and Fred in there. Oh well Uncle Phil knows his team a lot better than me.

Lucas Moura, Kaka, Robinho and Coutinho as well could lay claim to do a better job than some of these players. Miranda would be a better sub for Thiago Silva as well.

Indeed, Scolari is a stubborn man and if they go out due to a lack of creativity the fault is his and his alone. How Coutinho and/or Lucas Moura didn't get in the side over Bernard and/or Oscar is criminal .

Germany to put Brazil out of their misery.

Brazillians bitching about injuries an injury on one player when Germany has multiple injuries, with Lars Bender, Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Holger Badstuber ruled out as standout players. Thats just what Scolari gets when his own ego is more important than picking his strongest eleven. Germany offensively has looked very poor. Every attacking player except for Muller has not played up to their best. Still think that Germany will win by two goals.

I think the dream would of ended here with or without Neymar and Silva.

Germany go 2-0 up, Brazil get a late one back and we have a crazy end before it finishes 2-1.
