I’m ****ing devastated. So close, we deserved to play the extra time, then maybe we’d have lost anyway, but we deserved to try. I don’t think I will ever watch the highlights again in my lifetime, I’m going to have nightmares with Lukaku and Lautaro. Proud of my team.
I've won the double but the fans who go CL games they've won the treble , you've put the money on the table and you deserve every moment of joy @mattledud take in every moment pal Were Man City and we're on the piss again Up for work in 5 hours ffs
Just want to say, John Stones was absolutely incredible tonight, what a player. And Inter fans were class too. Now I’m off to drink myself into a coma
I'm sorry for you and your club. I can understand not watching highlights of this match again in your lifetime. Up until now I deny watching HSV's European Cup Final loss against Forest or several Final losses of German Nationalmannschaft in full or in highlights. Haven't seen the match, so can't comment on Lukaku but I just read at kicker.de that he to endure racial insults in social media afterwards. Bloody internet keyboard warriors nowadays. It's ok to be disappointed about the loss of your team but these racially insults against players are way too much. Seems to be "normal" nowadays these insults? In the article it is said that it's not the first time that Lukaku was racially insulted. Lukaku in den sozialen Medien massiv rassistisch beleidigt (sorry only in German) That's the right attitude. Be disappointed about the loss but also be proud of what your team has achieved. It's no shame to lose against such a good team.
I loved the footage of the goal, some fans put their hands in the air and then the next second got their phones out. Inter fans were brilliant though.
Well what I saw was Inter Milan shithousing for most of the game, and the ref not strong enough to stop it. As a result, the game was awful mostly. Right team won on the night. Some call it great defence, I call it anti football. Well done City, got there in the end, and "the Barnsley Beckenbaur" was Cit'y best player on the night. Quite how Ake gets in that team is beyond me though, he just floats about passing into players already under pressure and seems to panic a lot, he is just a bit better Eric Dier IMO.
This win should bolster the clubs worldwide support. More money in the transfer kitty as well. We can get even better with the greatest manager of all time at the helm.
