We’d be mid table if it wasn’t for Rashfords goals and transformation this season closely followed by Fernandes. Would have gone for Casemiro but he’s missed half the season through suspension or injury.
De Gea won golden glove, despite barely making a save. The two defensive players that have made a difference have been Martinez and Casemiro. I probably would have went Casemiro, but he keeps getting suspended, so went Martinez.
I went for Rashford, just shading Martinez, purely because Rashford's made such huge improvements in his finishing and decision making. Odd really because I think the player we miss the most when he doesn't play is Fernandes.
Martinez, Rashford or Bruno for me and there's nothing between them. We're useless at paying out from the back without martinez, we look awful when Bruno doesn't play and we don't score when Rashford doesn't.
Rashford for me. His most prolific season and how he's turned up this Season has been phenomenal. He's been focused and playing with purpose. Martinez a close second and has been a mega breath of fresh air. He gets the players and fans going. Had Casemiro played more matches he could've been up there but let's not disregard the impact he's made too. It's been a very good Season.
Went for Rashford, without his goals and the best season of his career, we'd be nowhere. Martinez easily 2nd, Shaw deserves a mention too alongside Casemiro.
