We go to Old Trafford on Saturday for our next league outing. Always a massive fixture and one with an incredible nervous but exciting buzz about it. Don't have a clue what to predict but one thing i hope is that it is a game talked about for all the right reasons this time, unlike the reverse fixture. Gerrard and Suarez must start, i'd fancy Carroll to start too, deserves to. Thoughts?
I reckon Kenny will insist that Andy Carroll bullies Manchester Uniteds long streak of piss aka their goalkeeper. They will also have to deal with a little uruguayan magician who is in the mood to take a certain lying bastard apart. I can see him doing so.
Ready for the boo's, who cares bring it on...... 0-0 Lets not forget Fergies boring psychological war games....
Don't think any Liverpool player will need a team talk to fire them up for this one. Probably the best time to play the Mancs with all the injuries they have. Will watch this one in the pub in town, this is the one fixture that will pack the place.
United to win 2-0, can see it already, Suarez sent off for chinning Rooney, dodgy penalty for United, winner being an offside goal and Evra putting in another complaint of racism against Suarez, even though Suarez wasn't even on the pitch at the time, kick offs in and around the ground before and after the game, Liverpool docked 10 points for failing to control their supporters.
You just never know with these games. On paper I'd have us down as winners, but then again a dodgy decision either way can just tilt the game. I have a feeling there will be a load of drama in this one. Offside goal, dodgy free kick or a dodgy pen.
Its going to take a strong sensible ref to manage this one which is something the FA dont have , I havent looked at the odds but a red card would have to be odds on , Bring on the mancs lets F*CKIN SMASH EM!!!
Henderson should start, is enrique available? Taggart has called for a crackdown on racism hmm so fkn predictable.
Manchester United v Liverpool (12.45pm) Referee: P Dowd Assistants: S Bennett, A Garratt Fourth Official: A Taylor Match Delegate: J Duncan PGMO: B Curson
Don't really like Dowd but he is one of the better ref's we have in this country .. i am just glad it isn't Webb, Clattenburg or Foy.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/7494884/Suarez-Abuse-will-spur-me-on Typical Sky twisting the first line of that article, but good to see Suarez will be in the right frame of mind. I think he'll be chucked in from the start, possibly for Kuyt in the only change from Monday night. Is Enrique available?
How does anything he is quoted as saying translate to he said he has nothing to be apologetic for? Sky are morons. Yeah i agree really good to read he is in a good mind frame and intends to let his football do the talking. He'll get some stick alright but hopefully he does use it as motivation to play well. Where is Enrique? Was he injured on Monday.
Enrique had a slight muscular strain according to Kenny. I would expect him to be available for selection. If we attack Man U we can get all three points here. 1-3 win to LFC.
Just been down to the Arndale Centre you just wanna see the Liverpool / Suarez TShirts they are selling? Along with Justice for Evra? So the The Theatre of Hate begins so lets bring it on. I reckon we will tear the slimy gits apart & humilate them. Either that or we might get beat. In fact if Phill Dowd is the ref then there is no way on gods earth will he allow us to win. If he is ref I would recommend that a bet on Liverpool having at least 2 players sent off will be a nap. Managed to get a ticket for the game & as a precaution against getting singled out & attacked after the game (as has happend more than often in the past) we have got these long all white shirts with matching white pointy hat that just allows space for your eyes to appear. After the game these can be removed & placed in a suitable Manc Superstore bag & so long as you look & speak like a Traveller/Pikey/Gypo then it will be safe to celebrate our win back in the Horse & Jockey in Chorlton
It's definitely gonna be controversial... The only sure thing is Liverpool won't get a penalty at Old Trafford.
