From this lunchtime's Look North. Neil Warnock says that, while it would be nice to get his targets in January, sometimes you just have to go with what you've got. Preparing fans for disappointment in January, or just hedging his bets in case nothing major materialises? I've always been a staunch supporter of Neil, but if he is genuinely attempting to complete this season without making any serious signings in January, it will rock my confidence in him as the man for the SUFC job. Thoughts?
Surprises me as when I asked him on Monday what he was looking for in January he said he will definitely be bringing in at least 1 or 2 players. A striker and a midfielder, and possibly something else but he will wait and see.
perhaps hes just being complimentary to the current squad , who are nt doing that badly why are some blades so negative
Not been negative at all, Ive been his biggest fan, you know what he's like, hes also said hes after a midfielder and a striker. Why say that, and put 5 on the list. Loads of money and trime the wage budget for nothing? I think not
they were what we could afford at the time we can get better ones now they got us where we wanted to be
