While I agree with some of your opinions and also think we need a new midfielder you don't need to be so callous towards the ones we currently have. Calling The Ox 'useless' for example after everything he's been through is really harsh imo. Elliot might be a kid but he was arguably our best player when he came on against Fulham. Or one of them. Henderson and Milner are still able to do more than a job and as for the others they do seem to pick up quite a few injuries tbf. Keita was only ill btw and will be back for Palace a midfield of Fabinho-Henderson-Keita should be more than good enough until someone gets brought in. Not too concerned at the moment tbh. Klopp will sort it one way or the other.
I mean Thiago and Fabinho are world class and Keita is ok but the rest don't deserve to start. Now that Thiago's injured (so is Ox) that leaves Henderson, Jones, Milner and Carvalho for the final spot. Don't fancy any of them but think Jones would be good to try out
I think Keita is back so it will be him, Fab and Henderson. If Keita is still out then after his performance after coming on against Fulham Elliott deserves to start.
It's a fair comment in all honesty. He's useless to us and our ambitions if he's effectively only available for 5 games a season whilst on a huge packet.
