Only two years, but job complete! Looks like a team that will need to make plenty of smart signings to stay up though...many former Championship players but older. Don't think Warne is a Championship manager either.
Always had a soft spot for Derby and we've had some good battles with them over the years. I've been to PP a few times including the "snow" game, and had a good craic with the Rams fans. I even went to the old Baseball Ground years ago and even remember there being some blades of grass on the pitch amongst the sand. welcome back.
Nice for a well supported local team to us to be back in the league. You'd think they should be ok but Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday have struggled this season and one got over 100 points and the other only slightly less when they went up from League One which seems to indicate that there's a bit of a gap. Ipswich excluded obviously but they're a real anomaly.
So happy to be back, and some massive teams in the championship, with great support, can not wait, hope Notts Forest can join us in a real good championship next season, still smiling now, enjoyed yesterday /night, that will live long in my memory. Once A Ram Always A Ram.
I wanted us to "do a Lester" (you came straight back up I'm sure) but you've been too good these last few years gotta say.. Still , 2 years ain't bad going.
Really looking forward to next season. Recruitment has to be spot on this Summer to give us a chance of competing . I was deffo in the Warne out camp for much of this season but hold my hat to him. He's proved me wrong.
our league 1 season was Pearson's first can't be underestimated how good a job he did given the mess he inherited, I think you still beat Forest in getting back up so that's the main thing lol
Yeah they were down in L 1 for an eternity ! lol What they putting in the water in Leicester ? EPL champions, FA cup winners , and now a Championship title . I'm not jealous. I'm really not.
