Escafeld's away day travel tips #1: Make up a snap bag with your favourite snacks, sandwiches & drink for the journey home. ;)

You could just throw the bottle instead, as an act of defiance. Not that i'd condone such a thing of course.

Big game for us both then on Tuesday....

Neither seem able to score many goals but fairly decent at the back.

So as Warnock stated after the Man Utd match last week the season starts today. If that is the case then you have to wonder why he persists with this ridiculous 4-5-1 formation. Seems like he starts each match trying to stifle the opposition, which as our league record shows is a strategy that simply isn't working, then goes 4-4-2 when the game is being chased. Giving ourselves barely any reasonable chance to get anything from the game. Though when we switch to 4-4-2 we create problems for the opposition & create chances, of course converting them is another matter but then at least we give ourselves a chance.

No doubt this week he'll focus on the disallowed goal, using it as his get out of jail free card, claiming that if the ref had done his job properly we'd have got a deserved point blah blah waffle waffle.

Next two games are must wins & if Warnock fails to go for a positive attacking formation from the start as he so miserably failed to do today then the writing is on the wall as we'll be well adrift in the bottom three.

Anyone hear Warnock on P & G? He's lost it & sounds like a man under pressure. Lashed out at the reporter when asked why he only plays with one up front until we go behind. Responded by ranting on about how the next manager might play with four/five strikers. Let's hope he does Neil, sooner rather than later!

Another huffing and puffing away performance without looking like getting so much as a point. If United were a Wolf we would have huffed and puffed enough to blow down an entire estate of houses.

Warnock's dire tactics and irrational substitutions are beyond a joke. I'm sick of him doing what he did today, wait till we are behind, about 20 minutes from fulltime, take the creative midfielders off, Alan Quinn and Keith Gillespie and put lots of strikers on. Jesus wept.

And much as everyone will moan about various decisions, it dosen't alter the fact we were playing a shite team, and we could have got something out of the game, and yet, we come away again with nothing. And my god I am dreading January after last year. How many overpriced players is he going to buy this year and never play them? Horror show.

I reckon it's because people can't throw it with liquid in if there's no cap on it. Well you could, but it would most likely go all over you.

The highlights were on in Germany tonight on premiere but as I knew the result I didn,t bother watching, the sky website says we were unlucky though,
still if we don,t take at least 4 points from the watford+charlton games we,re in big trouble.

Leave the guy alone. If we go 442 away from home then we're gunna get stuffed. He made the changes early enough for us to get a point, even 3. Its not his fault the players cant put the ball in the back of the next.

Up to the final 3rd we played well yesterday and the second ball just didnt drop for us

keep the faith, it will happen. money is been made available in Jan,

Heard rumors that people where on P or G calling for his head - If they were that bothered they would have gone.

We all new that was going to happen this year. We aint Reading and was never going to do what they are doing.

We've had nearly 7 years of Warnock and so should have expected it.

Well well well, as has been said before another industrial performance from the men in Black n White yesterday. I assume the thinking in Mr W's tactics is to scrape a 1-0 with the formation we set out, keep things tight then smash n grab a la Newcastle but for this to happen people need to be keeping hold of the man they are marking (Mr Legowood) on set pieces.

As has also been said why oh why does Alan Quinn become the sacraficial lamb to make way when we sub, along with monty both of who are more likely to create somethin than legowood........(I suppose this is beginnin to sound like a hate campaign against mikelle or whatever name he goes by).....but its not I just have personal view that other players mainly alan quinn should stay on the park in front of him.

Remind me if I'm wrong but hasnt Quinn played in Central midfield for us previously and therefore any reshuffle to accomodate a forward playing on the wing (another brillant tactic of Mr W) can see Quinn slotting into the middle of the park?

In addition to missing the kick off yesterday thanks to the lack of tubes on the district line at upminster, the disallowed goal and then the pissing down rain while waiting to get into upton park tube station on the way home and the it drivin home in soaked clothes, it was another great day trip to london.

Only 3 more left and not another till well into next year and it will takes us all that long to save us for the tickets at Chelsea, if your interested the 3 games are Chelsea, Charlton and the FA Cup Final!

Peace out UTB n 442 on tuesday for a 3 point haul

So it,s two then, one if you take away the total and utter waste of time and money that will be the chelsea trip.
I,m back in Sheff that weekend and years ago I would have gone, but frankly now I,m in my forties and perhaps not quite as passionate, I,m not prepared to fork out a fortune for what is,with the best will in the world,a foregone conclusion.
Maybe I,ve been away too long.

its ok having a go at warnock , but arent decisions supposed to level out over a season , it seems all the key ones go against us , if the perfectly good goal that was chalked off was allowed it was a good point earned, and we deserved a draw at the very least .I spent the whole of sunday trying to figure out how and why it was disallowed, and the best I could come up with was icelandic hookers in the referees room
